this is a Scam.  the Calls should be report to the Telephone company that owns the number.  The number belongs to PAC-West Telecom.  the Adress is 4202 coronano Av. Stockton Ca.  the Phone number to report this to is1-209-926-3325

I got a call from this number today 206-420-6471. I did not pick up the phone. The message the man left was extremely insulting and accusatory. He called himself only by his first name, Jason. He said that there was an important legal matter that required my attention. He did not give any detailed information about what he was talking about. I recently applied for some information about car insurance, so that is most likely how they got our home phone number. Do not be fooled by this sorry attempt to be a persuasive and intimidating message. If an adverse party really wants to get ahold of you, they will not use this unprofessional and threatening tone. This is a scam. Ironically, I believe that the perpetrator of this call will "reap the consequences" due to the law that "what goes around, comes around." If I could trace this call I would take him to court for intentional infliction of emotional distress. I am a law student, I know.

These people have been calling me for over 2 years, I have recieved all the messages I called them back the first few months but now I ignore them. They are a scam the phone number will change every couple months but it is the same people with teh same type of message. On man has gone as far as contacting the State and Federal Attorney General has had extensive investigation done. the phone will show it is from US but when you track it they are calling form outside the US so there is not legal recourse to them.

They have called me for years.  It is a scam.  Comes out of India but they use US numbers.  No worries.

Got the same message as everyone from "Jason" I asked him for the name of his "law firm" as I work in a firm. He mumbled something about "this call being over" and hung up....I wish him the best with what comes upon him.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Got a voicemail from jason, stating that I or my attorney need to call his division immediately at 206-420-6471 and if I don't he wishes me well & God BLess..no other information..

I got this same call for this number he got mad because i ask him a question and he told me i will heard about it court!!!

If you have an attorney have him or her call the number. They seem to slow up once they find out you have council to help you deal with their illigal scams.

just got the same call and did not answer.  these are total scams as i talked to an attorney and said not to pay them.  legitimate companies know the law and have to send you proof of any debts they say you owe.  also debtors' prison went away years ago.  also contacted our local sheriff's office and they said they do not come out on these calls.  anyway these are from overseas.

I just got the same call from Jason. Sounds like a scam to me.  Hardly speak English and he used language like he was just learning to speak Enlish or reading from a script.  Damn scammers!  At least learn to speak English!

I get calls from these people too, the last one just a few minutes ago. I tell them that if they call me one more time I will call the FBI. It stops te calls for a couple of months and then they start calling from another number. This one said his name was Jason also. Total scam! Two years ago they even called my place of employment, very irritating!

I received a phone call from some odd phone number string from a person named Jason who said to call 206-420-6471 regarding an important legal matter but he never said what company he was with; I was suppose to call back yesterday or else. This was a call on my work phone number. I ignored it because I believe that it is a scam caller.

I have recieved the same call as everyone else. When they ask for you just say wrong number or do what I have done in the past. Call them and harrass them like they do you and you will see the calls will stop. They think they can call and make threats. Well I did the same asked for the Jason and went on a rant about the operation of their shady business. Needless to say they don't like you to call them period. Scam! Scam! Scam!

I have been receiving these calls on and off for at least 2 years. Haven't had one in a while. I just ask them what this is in regards to, they say it is for an unpaid payday loan. So I just tell them that I filed bankruptcy on all my debtors and that they were sent notification by certified mail with my attorney's contact information and the court case number. If they have any other questions they should go to the court house. They say good luck and god bless and the calls stopped for almost a full year.

This call is a scam. When you call the number they disguise the phone calls by using ring tones so you can't t tell they are overseas. The guy who called me. His name was Charles. He was calling from Rothstein & Associates.

I am receiving this call and "Jason" is looking for someone other than me.  Somehow they have my number instead of the person they want and I can't seem to get these people to leave me alone.  It's been going on for over two years now and I am sick of it. I told "Jason" if he really wants to talk to me to come to my house with his "attorney of record", knock on my door and ask for the person they are seeking on the phone and see if he can make it back to his car.

I got a call from this #, 206-420-6471 saying he was with an attorney office, then saying I owe $ for borrowing on line. Now they say I owe over $5000. and the Sheriff will be out to arrest me in the morning. he had my social security #, my address, my daughters name. Where do they get this info from? I had been upset over this all day.

You know, I'm really over the fact that these people can operate without fear of any recourse. These damn people are calling all the time, offer no information, threaten you, and then still won't remove your number when you tell them this is a load of crap. Reporting them just doesn't seem to matter because they just use a new number. It stinks that I'm going to have to change the cell phone number I have had for 6 yrs because these scams have gotten my info from somewhere. It should be illegal to share or sell consumer information. Period.

I recieved the same message saying that are calling in regards to a cash advance.I never recieved a cash advance.if the call againg i will report them to the better business burea.

Called them back, was told they needed my lawyer's info to start a suit in my state, I said I needed more info from them first, got rude and said the courts would give me all I needed.  Can't understand half of what they say.  Scam.

Got the EXACT same message, same name, and same number.  Also stated that all he could do was wish me "good luck."  Do not talk to these people. It is a scam!

call comes in as (642) 064-71... that area code is from Mexico... but left me the number 206-420-6471 to call back, same name, Jason....  tries to be threatening... same message as the one shown from LJ.
