This just happened to me. The caller ID shows some strange #. Person sounded of foreign accent. He said they had information on a loan I defaulted on, but couldn't provide documentation. He said he was is an officer, I asked so you are a police officer of what state and city. He said something I couldn't understand. I asked for the date and company and he provided the date. I told him I haven't taken out any loans and once he could provide proof in the mail to not call again. He said ok then I will see you in the court house, I said ok and hung up.

i am getting calls from this number saying i owe them , and they are sending the police to my house pulse i need to pay them now... they are rude and obnoxious.

I received a call from this number also they were telling me that. I owe a payday loan company 843.00 dlls he said his name was john hudson, then since his english is so bad when I was listening to the voice mail he left on my voicemail he said his name was kevin thompson same voice diffrent names, I kinda got scared since im on parole he said they were going to put me in jail because I stoled some money I called the police to protect myself,when the police showed I had them call the number and they didn't know what to say they even asked the police officer his badge number and put him on hold to verify his badge number after a minute they came back on the line and told him that they had a police data search and that he wasn't a police officer. This is just to let u know how far these people will go to make this scam sound real. If only I could spend 5 minutes with this little b*****d id give him a beating worth 843

keep getting calls from this number and they say they are a police officer but when I ask from where they hang up...any help on how to stop them???

Just did some homework on this number....if it helps track them and stop it please. I just recieved another call same thing different person, When they asked for me , i told them she was no longer employed and they insisted on a home number, swore at me and i just hung up. hope it will stop, but i am sure it wont. It is annoying.

I keep getting calls from thease foreign people at my job stating they are from a legal matter office and need to promptly return the call. Goes by the name of Sgt Thompson, comes up on caller id as unknown caller. I tell them i am not available and it is employment and they still call every couple of days. I hate being harrassed especially at work. They become very rude if you try to tell them something.

I am getting these same calls on both my cell phone and my work number.  The calls are showing up as from international numbers, and each time the person has a very simple name such as John/Don Smith, Richard Adams, and today the call was from Mark Brown.  The people calling have such thick accents their English is barely understandable.  Today I was told that officers would be showing up on my doorstep.  I told the caller that he should send me something in writing, and then we would talk.

This just happened to me as well. Same con. Person sounded Islamic/Indian as well. Did the scam about threatening a lawsuit concerning my social security number. Will not do one thing to satisfy these fraudsters until they provide me with something in writing from their "company" that could stand up to legal muster and scrutiny AND hold them accountable for fraud. Oh BTW, the person said he was officer so-and-so (scare tactic), the phone message was garbled with alot of background noise (no doubt deliberate), and he raced through his message like he had a quota of scams to meet in a short period of time. No legitimate legal enterprise would act so unprofessionally. If they have your phone number, they have your address, and so this phone call is meant to freak you out into giving information over the phone and forking over money to them without a shred of written documentation about the legitimacy of their operation, which is obviously a criminal enterprise. Beware, they want you to divulge your social (as if they didn't already have it) in order to use it for nefarious reasons. Filing a police report sounds very appropriate. Much good it would do. Scumbags.

I have received numerous phone calls from this number.  The man appears to be Islamic/Indian descent.  He has threatened me in that his company DRC a Scott Mason's office has filed a lawsuit against me and that they will contact my employer and that I could possibly spend up to 3 years in prison over a financial lawsuit concerning my social security number.  He also stated in his message that I will regret not contacting them back.  This is ridiculous!  I am filing a police report this afternoon.

someone from this number claims to  be a company named dispitute resoulition  center  a lady  named stacy  wright  keeps calling from  this number and then  a man  james labrarock they were the  crime federal  prevention  dept  these people  sounded like  they were indian  and when i called they answered HELLO!! very unprofessional they  sent me a paper for me to  send  them  my credit card info  and clear picture of my drivers lisecense i said  not  until  they  send  some typr of letter of the company tha t i owe  money too  they  said cash advance but  what random company is anmed that!! so many i checked out  on line i spoke to  someone named james labrock  i told him t hat i hired an attorny and they my attorny  is requiring  a formal  lettter on a company letter head with  companys info   after i asked hi to  email  the info he said he would nt until  the  payment is paid in full i said i will  not  send him any thing until  i have a letter  and  he has to  speak  to  my  attorny this a***ole VERY  RUDE!! SAID HAVE HIM CAL  ME  AND  HUNG  UP  !! I M GLAD I HAVE READNG THES POSTS ON THESE SCAM FRAUD  COMPANY BECAUSE I WAS SCAMMED OUT OUT OF  $400 ALREADY FROMA COMPANY NAMED ANDERSON LAW !! BEWAR
