Got the same phone number included in an email in response to my ad for homecleaning service. The usual blah blah about sending "more" than the quoted fees and "sending the balance back".  These idiots have GOT to know that this scam is about 100 years old now, and (heaven hoping)for the most part, folks aren't gonna fall for it.  I would respond to the email that they've been reported to the federal authorities.  Perhaps that'll dissuade them over time from scamming innocent people and instead go get a God-honest job that pays commensurate with their IQ's.

Beware as this person is threatening us via email and I have contacted the authorities-most likely a fraudster.

SAME STORY! Wow... that's just ridiculous. I am soooo glad that I researched the information in "her" email after I read it... It just didn't sit well with me, there were tons of misspellings and some of the sentences didn't make sense and it just sounded sketchy. Their email was also sent in response to housecleaning services. Hopefully people are smart about things like this and always question things that sound weird - I'm glad my mama taught me well :)

got the same exact email regarding an electric wheel chair, 5 red flags went up in my mind as I read the email.

I just want to let all of you know that i put my hotmail email address in that site (emailfinder.com) and it gave me the same ip address. If you have a hotmail address I suggest you do the same and you will get the same results. How accurate is that site?

It would seem that every hotmail.com address comes up with this I.P.  Someone I don't know tried to add me on MSN today and their name comes up on no social networking sites.  I then found that they had this I.P address and found this thread.  In a totally unscientific test, I also checked my own and some others and found that they have the same I.P, probably because they also have a hotmail.com email address.  Try your own.

I would be very surprised if everyone here has problems with the same person, although phone calls from one number might be, but the people you're dealing with probably had the same ending on their email addresses.  Hotmail.com is used worldwide too, not just in the US.

If you are recieving threatening calls or being conned or harassed, you should go to the police with the information you have.  Best wishes to you all.

that is not his real ip....he is probably using a fake ip ...kinda like a mask... this is his real ip 41.219.243.46 he is in nigeria, he has another partner in the states ( he may have more, but his only partner that contacted me was this one) that goes around with the IP address that appears to come from Washington, but yes u guessed it, it is also fake IP address, his real address is 172.132.70.249, and is near wichita, hopefully somebody with more knowledge stops this MTF, the addresses that he used to address me are row2010@live.com for the wichita guy and timsflesher@hotmail.com for the nigerian guy

I guess this IP adress is the adress of hotmail.com I'm not very good at that kind of stuff, but if you simply check any hotmail adresses (could be your friends), for example at emailfinder.com, this IP will appear. I even tried my own :)

mmmmmmmmmmm this is strange. i just searched my own personal email adress and has come up with this i.p address.... all i can say is what [removed:lang] is going on.. i have had this email for 8 years and kept getting random emails.... how many email adresses runs of the same i.p adress cuase this has got me really pissed offf...

IP Address 212.162.1.124 in Redmond,WA is actually Microsoft Corporate Offices address. All these cons come from Hotmail & Yahoo accounts.

Now i have a hard time believing  that Microsoft & Yahoo can't do anything about these con email addresses.

By the way I'm in Canada, so we get the same emails after posting in Craiglist or now Kijiji.

If Microsoft, Yahoo, Craiglist and Kijiji don't deal with these cons then i think that a suing collectively these companies would be the next step. Lost of money is the least of the problem, peoples safety is at risk, minors who don't know better are at risk.

Also, these cons are not from just one individual like some may think, it's actually a large organization.

heres his new messenger.  hwcalvin_luk@hotmail.com  got an invite to accept his messenger. looked it up and it gave me the infamous ip address. 212.162.1.124. emailfinder.com guarantees being able to find this person. hasnt screwed me. so i have nothing to gain. if ur intrsted i think the subscription is pretty cheap. it shows hes coming out of WA. but when i did a further background it showed germany. he's probably using a proxy server.
