I just got one, too. Woman was hard to understand and wouldn't be specific about why she was calling. As far as I'm concerned if I really need to post something, the labor department would most likely send me a letter. Not call me.

Got a call from a guy who sounded less than professional, asking for my business address so he could send me "OSHA Posters Required By Law." I said, "I apologize if you're legit, but I have to tell you you sound like a scammer trying to get my information." And he hung up on me. Quite professional, huh? My guess is if I were dumb enough, he probably would have "sold" my business the WA State Labor posters that are FREE from the government.

Update # 3. Over a month since we told them we are not interested in buying labor law posters we can get for free and they are trying to call. Lucky we have there # blocked in our voice mail system so their calls no longer come though.

As a follow-up, they have tried to call 3 times since we told them we were not interested and not to call. Do not call report filed each time

Called about asking about labor law posters. Told we were not interested, then called back 3 minutes later. Complaint filed with DNC and # is now blocked.
As a note. Buisnesses are required to have posters stating labor laws and minunum wages, but they often can be download for free and printed off. These people charge you several hundred $$$ for things you can get for free.

Was given the name of Nationwide Publishing on the voice mailbox message. Just a spammer trying to get your info.

Asking businesses if they have the latest WA State Labor and Industries posters; likely a call center trying to gather address/contact info or sales contact for such things. Too bad for them such govt. documents are free on govt. sites (and therefore already updated, thank you), and that number is not within the 206-area L&I switchboard prefixes.
