I received a call from this number at 11:54 am on 10 October.  It went to the answering machine, but no message was left.  Thank you BERNARD HODES G for checking my telephone bell for me!

Yes, the name was Hodes.  I didn't answer but thanks for your feedback.  These multiple calls are really getting annoying!

Same here. I too received -- but as voicemails -- several calls from this number. Each voicemail began as though in mid-sentence, saying something about "last chance" (or "last notice") to "take advantage of" something related to "the stimulus", and to "press 1". No identifying name or source was given. Needless to say, the whole thing sounded like a scam -- and the string of 9999999's (etcetera)  in the callback-number was an additional clue that this was a scam. Thus I did not call the number.

Left recorded message about "your last notice" to take advantage of some program related to the stimulus - have received this message before from different phone numbers.

Most of these calls are from criminals who just want your credit card number.  The phone number is probably spoofed illegally.  Beware!

Called my wireless number.  Seemed like a fake phone number, so I didn't answer it.  Didn't leave a message.

I use call forward select to divert repeat callers to a local chinese take out that speaks very little English...Sometime I will pick up but will not speak until they do, then I use my whistle...

Calls every day 2-3 times a day to lower credit card debt etc.

I received a call at 10:19 am on October 11, 2013 from 212-999-9997.  It was a recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rates.  The message said it was my last notice although I have had several dozen calls with the same message over the last few years.  I would report the call on donotcall.gov, but the website is not working because of the government shutdown.  The message did not identify the caller.  My caller ID said, "Bernard Hodes G."  

Name shown Bernard Hodes G  #212 999 9997.  Did not leave message.  

Same b***s*** your last chance to reduce your credit card interest rates, WTF? Those crooks are under another telephone number have BERNARD HODES behind this trick?

I received the same call 10/10/11, but caller ID was Bernard Hodes G @ 1-212-999-9997 regarding credit card alarm information!

Anyone have additional information on Bernard Hodges? My caller-ID identified this number. Any way to find out who he is?
