Has called and stated that I  have a loan from Quick Cash. What? The company has pressed criminal charges against me. Again, What? Man claims to be Craig Stevens, famed attorney, wanted my attorney's information. Please help!

these people are criminals. they use numerous names and phone numbers. between march of 2008 and june of 2009 they got over 10,000 from me because they are convincing and make you think that maybe you do owe. these people are horrible and it is very illegal for them to tell you that you will be arrested for not paying off a loan. look up the fdcpa rules that govern bill collectors. abc has also done a story on their type of scam. it is interesting that they go onto this site, and on several of the different numbers they use post the same message, and use a different name every time. they all have a very heavy indian/pakistani accent, but american names like Jason Bourne? Do not give them information! I found out the hard way, they started to take money out of my acct. using my card number that i had given them for one of their "debts". If you have given them any information, cancel your cards or close out your accounts!! Luckily when I saw the first unauthorized transaction, it was only a 30.00 debit but it easily could have been more.
I don't mean to ramble, but I want everyone to be especially wary of them and to PLEASE learn from my mistakes! Report them everytime they call to anyone and everyone you can think of! They must be stopped!!!

Just got another call from Craig Stevens from 102 8551013 said I needed to pay them this month.

I too got messsages from Craig Stevens and Mack Anderson stating that either me or my attorney should call them back regarding avery urgent business matter.  I call and talked to Craig Stevens and was threatened that if I did not pay them $200 before 5'o clock that afternoon that I would go to jail; I was told that I had to appear in court in California the next day and if I did not appear that they would take out abench warrent for me; needless to say I was scared and I paid them $200.  Then they call me back and said I need to pay them the remaining balance or their would be police at my door the next morning.  I have tried to call ever since and can not get through.  Please Help I cant afford to go to jail if this is real.

I just finished my last payment which they withdrew 2 days early...I too cannot call back.  I feel pretty stupid but Mike scared me, saying I owed this $ and I have so many bills after my divorce I trusted I probably did owe.

I'VE BEEN SEARCHING THIS WEB SITE AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE MANY PHONE NUMBERS UNDER THIS COMPANY WITH COMPLAINTS. GO UNDER MANY NAMES ECT WITH THE PERSONS WHO CALL U AT HOME ECT. IMPERSONATION LAW OFFICIALS OR ATTORNEYS IS A FEDERAL CRIME. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, SSI#'S, BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION ECT.  THIS ARE ILLEGAL DEBT BUYERS OR SOME HOW ARE SEARCHING THE AREA OF A FORMER PERSON WHO OWES A DEBT AND WILL SEARCH LETS SAY. IF YOU LIVE IN (LA) AND THERE ARE 5 KNOWN ( JOHN PIPS) WITH IN THE AREA AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH THAT NAME . THEY WILL CALL ALL THOSE PEOPLE ATTEMPTING TO HAVE SOMEONE WITH THAT NAME PAY OFF THAT PERSONS DEBT EVEN IF ITS NOT THEIRS. IF THEY HAVE YOUR SSI, BANK INFORMATION THEY MIGHT HAVE BOUGHT IT OFF LINE WHICH IS LEGAL BUT BAD. THIS IS MAJOR PART OF THE ILLEGAL SCAM.

Wow! These people need to be stopped. I am sorry that they got your money. But hopefully others with not be scammed by these creeps. And I will report them as soon as possible. With the economy in the condition that it is in so many scam artist are looking to make easy quick money. I will go to the FBI website and make a report!

Shasa...I got him to give me the bar association number...but i never checked it...I even contacted the FBI in Cincinnati where I am from and they said if They were to file something already with the courts you would have gotten a copy...They raffled off all of my social security info, references..they seemed legit at first but all of my other loan places would give me info and fax or email me whatever...the first thing that tipped me off was each week they kept changing there numbers...I basiclly told them to do what they wanted to do...but he messed up and told me that if I contacted the courts they wouldnt know what I was talking about and that they were recording everything through the court house..I called the court house and they said this isnt true...I am so pissed...I hate these people...I checked my credit report and they were not even on there......They also never gave me a confirmation number either.....they are not very smart..do your research and confront them..thats what I did after I got scammed...now I am out $345 dollars..I'm just glad I didnt give them more..Please report this to the FBI or your local police..this needs to be stopped for all of our safety and peace of mind...

Danny, I have applied for a loan on line before. I think the early part of 2008. Maybe that's how they got my information. They even knew my sisters names whom I usually use as references when applying for credit. WOW! This is overwhelming. Whenever I ask for information to be faxed to me the guy tells me that only my attorney can view the information. I also asked for his bar association number but he refused to give me that too. He stated since I was not a lawyer he could not give me his number.

Did you guys apply for any loans on line at all?? Because they have all of my info?? Like social security numbers and everything else...how can we stop this crap....These people need to be stopped...

This exact message was left for me, I am kind of freaking out about it...because I don't know why they are calling me...what should I do?

Toady I received two calls from this number 213-232-4392..........The guy has an accent and says his name is Craig Stevens........My co worker answered the first call and said I was not there and the second time I was the one that answered, but I told him "Frances" was not in could I take a message.....Now that I know what a scam this is......next time they call they are going to be told Frances no longer works there....

Hey guys,I get the same calls from Mike Anderson, Craig Stevens and now a new number from a Sgt. Marshall...Can some one please help me with this crap...i actually gave them money but they never ever have given me any information on my supposed loan account...I need help.....

Mike "Anderson" leaves me a voicemail on my work phone stating I need to call him back or my attorney does regarding a legal matter.  I call him and he doesn't answer as Mike but some other name, then pretends to put me on hold.  He comes back on the line and tells me three criminal charges are being filed against me for money I owne to Quick Cash, which I never heard of.  I keep asking him for information to be faxed to me, but he refuses, and states only my attorney can view that information.  So, I hang up and head to a local attorney's office.  He finds the information on this website and recommends I file a police report.  I do one better and call the FBI and file a complaint on their website.  This is a big scam!!!

Guy keeps calling and saying he calling from an attorneys office.  I have already read up on this kind of things, so before I even think about calling some of these companies back, I try to do some research on them.

called me from a local number, but left message to call back this number.  guy was very rude and message he left came off as a threat.

They call me from an local area code, but then tell me to call back 213 232 4392. It's annoying and they keep talking about a quick cash company. Also they are very rude, I've been cussed out twice by these people. They have a middle eastern accent and say that they if I don't pay up or give them my attorney's number I'll be in court. DUE I'm a college kid I don't even have an attorney yet!!!!!!!!!!!
