Everyone on my cell phone plan received a series of texts messages from these scam artists!!!  Thank goodness everyone was smart enough not to give out information.  If you receive this type of text message, please FORWARD the text message WITH SENDER'S PHONE NUMBER to 7726 to report spam!  Authorities are closing in and cracking down on these predators!  We can all help them by reporting the spam.

This number has been harassing me daily for months. I am schizophrenic and these constant unknown callers put me in a such a state of panic, I haven't left  my house in almost a year. Yesterday was the first time I left my safety zone, but only after it was proven to me that the harassing calls weren't personal threats. My husband wants to sue.

Received unwanted text from this #, claiming it is for "valleyfcu"  These creeps should be fined and have their phones taken from them!

We had our PBX get hacked and they where sending the calls to a SIP account somewhere else.  We have resolved the issue, but the hacker may still be sending messages out with our phone number on them.

I have received three texts claiming to be from Generations Federal Credit Union.  All from different numbers, which are, no doubt, spoofed.  They want you to call a number to "validate" a credit card.  Previous posters are correct.  If you have given any of these crooks any information, call your financial institution and cancel your credit or debit card immediately!

The people texting this crap are using Verizon' Online text feature which is free texting via a browser (that's the "vtext.com" part of the address) I guess they just post as random financial institutions- always in a weird way like "FCU Generations" or "ValleyFCU"  I wonder if posing as a Federal financial institution is a crime? Maybe they are using the weird spelling as a way out of posing as a legtimate? Anyway, I don't know why they do this, but as others point out, they get someone to reply and grab their debit card numbers and rob them blind.

Just received a text from this number as well. Now posing as MyGenFCU. Same scam as what everyone else is saying.

This sent text about what don't know but not a working when called back.

Got a text from "100@vtext.com" that said exactly the following,
"Please call 214-273-3205. Valleyfcu"
Upon calling the number I hear an automated message telling me to enter my 16 digit account number to verify my debit card to avoid it being locked. I know for a fact they're posing as some sort of "Valleyfcu", as a simple Google search will turn up multiple results of "Valley fcu"'s.

received unwanted text message from Generations.  totally unsolicited.  they sent me one last week as well and I texted back an abusive text telling the b*****ds never to text my private number again.  they texted back saying 'account frozen' but I don't have any account with anyone named Generations.  Sent them another profane abusive text.  Who are these parasites?

Received text from this number (2142733205.415725xxxxxx). I guess the numbers after the dot are some sort of account number, but not any account that I have. Text also said that account was frozen...don't think so...

They keep testing my cell phone telling me to call. I text back why? They don't respond. So many terrible scam artists I will not call or answer calls to anyone not identifying themselves. Be aware!

I've seen this before and just received a text from the number.  I've seen others post that when or IF you call them, something about they tell you you're debit card is invalid ... blah blah blah ... SCAM!!  AND THEN NEED TO STOP TEXTING ME!!!

This is NOT coming from a bank Community Trust, or ValleyFCU (like Mine said), or Susquehanna FCU.  This is a phishing scam trying to get your debit card numbers.  DO NOT give out your credit card/debit card number to these people.  Not only is it a "scam" they want your numbers and you will find fraudulent charges on your cards.  Beware people!!!

Got a call from this number. They asked to call me back.

My husband has received a text from this number stating to call Community Trust several nights in a row, about the same time every night. He has not had any dealings with a Community Trust either! Not sure how these people get cell phone numbers.

Junk call...how are they getting our numbers???

I do not have an account with Community Trust. These people keep texting me and telling me to call different numbers. Also there were type o's so I know it wasn't from the bank.
