called telling me to turn on my computer. Played with them over the phone. His name was John, but could not understand him very well. He gave the phone to another John. After I told them to tell me what they wanted me to do, and the would not do it. They finally hung up on me. Also they called our roll over number that is not published. So tired of these calls

I see people here with the same problems as i have. I even found out that this phone number isnt the only phone number they use, sometimes they use a routing number (10 zeros). They claim to be cellular mobile techies, they claim to be the company windows LOL, they claim they are from washington dc from one of the "special sectors" called computer incidents. They like claiming I have viruses im downloading even while my computer isnt online in any way shape or form. They claim im hacked from some russian guy. And the more and more I laugh they cry and send me to the supervisor. I let her play her game cause I wanna learn their game. In the end the ones playing with me are in actuallity, not that far from me they are F.A.C.S. I had fun with their "baby me" "googoo gaa gaa" crap they shilled to me when Nothing else seemed to work on me. Cause I "failed to comprehend the seriousness of the situation". Naa me just laughing at their pathetic game. Whatever you do if you do as they say, they will definitely get into your computer. At one point the supervisor was trying to get her hands on my bank/credit card info including passwords, that's when I stopped listening to their games and just hung up.

This number calls us relentlessly day and night for the past ten days now. We have never answered the call as we don't know who it is.
Thanks for the insight!

Got a call from 215-249-6100. It was a foreign voice with the caller sounding like he was on another planet (hard to understand what he was saying). He said he was calling about an urgent error with my computer. I hung up. The company is not listed when I look at reverse number lookup. But I do believe this is a scam. My local telephone company takes care of my computer problems. I call them, they do not call me.

I work from home, so I answered the phone with my 'business identification' - the person immediately hung up.
The Caller ID said Dublin, PA.

This company called and when I questioned them about who they were and what qualifications they had because I am a computer scientist the operator became rude and abusive telling me to f*** off and that he f****d my wife.
I guess he didn't like being caught out. Irony is he was more angry than I was. Great fun to get them to keep repeating themselves. Ask lots of questions and keep saying pardon to get them to repeat. When the abuse starts you've won. Remember it's only words and you obviously know more than they do if f*** is the best they can come up with. Don't get annoyed get even!!

Not the first time a man with an Indian accent has called "from Microsoft" to tell me my computer was alerting them to problems I was having. This time I laughed and said you've called me before, I'm not stupid, please don't waste my time and yours and do not call again. I got a 2nd call tonight from the same number where the machine just said "good bye". I then checked my caller id and they had called once before - so that was three calls today! This is why I still have a land line.

They are Indian scammer/extortionists. They are outside US jurisdiction and are criminals in any case and ignore US laws.
Call blocker is your best bet. They are not about to stop.

They called 2 times yesterday and 4 times today. 2 of the calls were only 5 minutes apart. I was not home and they left no messages. Arrgh!

I have been receiving calls from this number on my home phone. Someone with an Indian accent says that they are calling from Microsoft to talk to me about an issue with my computer. I have told them repeatedly that my computer belongs to my company and that all issues are handled through the IT department and to please remove my home number from their calling list. They have now called at least 12 times in the past two weeks, and so far 3 times today.

Ditto. They call us every day. We ignore the calls and let the answering machine respond; naturally, they never leave a message. Once, curious, I called the number and got the same $100 gift card announcement. Good luck with the FCC. I keep submitting claims, and the calls just keep on coming.

Called earlier today, man w/ thick accent said he was calling from Microsoft and there was an issue w/ my computer. I told him this morning that I knew about what he was up to and he said he wasn't selling anything. I never mentioned anything about him selling anything. I told him not to ever call me again. A few hours later this same number is calling again!!

Got a call from 215-249-6100. Indian accent. Tried to tell me my microsoft computer was infected with a virus. Asked me to push the windows button and the letter R. I didn't do it but told him I did. He said see your computer is hacked. When he knew I was messing with him he said he wanted to talk to my wife or daughter. He said he wanted to f@&k my wife. I told him I already f@&ked his. He stayed on the line a while longer, we had some laughs, and then he finally hung up. Hmmmm, think it's a scam.

I received a call from 215-249-6100 on May 6, 2014 at 4:37 PM.
A man with an India accent said he was with the "technical team at Windows". I told him there was no company called "Windows", so then he said he was with Microsoft. He said he could confirm that he was legitimate by comparing an ID number on my computer. I asked him to give me his Microsoft employee ID number. At first he acted as though he didn't know what I was talking about. Then he rattled off a number, much too fast to write it down. I asked him to repeat it slowly, but again he said it too fast. I finally told him to "get a real job". Then I hung up.
