The Community Clothing does have clothing donation boxes all over Ontario. I can guarantee you that not one box  from another organization has been stolen by us, infact we have been the victim of several boxes being stolen. The Community Clothing Centre is not Muslim based. You are thinking or a totally different "charity" their boxes are blue.

The Community Clothing Centre provides free clothing to people in need in the community. The clothing is not sold to Value Village like the Canadian Diabetis. Do you know how much is given to Diabetis research -3%. Perhaps you can ask Salvation Army why they do not give free clothing to the clients that are homeless using their services instead they are sent to gather free clothing from the Community Clothing Centre.

The call centre is off shore however they have strict timeline when they can call and I assure you they never call in the middle of the night. So please before you go spouting off at the mouth you might want to be a little more informed about what it is you are talking about.

Just fed up of their phone calls.Is there a way to stop them calling numerous times every day?

Just got a call from this number today ...   Community Clothing Collection ...   sounds legit when I called them back & asked to be removed from calling list ... reply was ..  no problem ..  we shall see if it actually happens

I heard that they pick those donated clothing of better conditions and sell them to those under-developing countries for good money by container loads. For those that are in poor conditions, they dump them to Salvation Army or Goodwill, who will have to take care of the garbage.

First time for this number to have called me. They asked for donations of clothing and gave me the shpeel of their script. When I said we give our clothes to the local women's shelter the guy got very rude with me and called the women's shelter a waste of time. I told him where to go and if his so-called company calls again that I'll consider it harassment and talk to the proper authorities.
So just remember people... just because sometimes the person on the other end of the phone is nice... doesn't mean they all are.

519 has been overlayed with 226, due to phone numbers being used up. This has been in place for several years now. So, yes, 226 *could* be in Kitchener, as is covers the same area as 519.

The fact that a charity by that name actually does exist does not mean that that's who's really calling.

Recieved 2 calls from this number within 20 minutes of each other. Fortunately I have Call Display, so if I don't know the caller I don't answer the call.

This organization has green boxes all over the province of Ontario and is notorious for stealing Salvation Army & Goodwill boxes and replacing it with their own.  They are Muslim based salvage clothing outfit that sells the clothing by the ton to off shore companies that sell the clothing in third world countries or shred them for rags and deconstruction for the thread and make them into new clothing made in sweat shops.

Don't give them a damn thing, support the Salvation Army or Goodwill or Canadian Diabetes Foundation not Community Clothing Service.  You know that this has to be a money making operation why else would they be hounding and calling all day and night......the call centre is off shore BTW that is why you get calls in the middle of the night.

The only charity they serve is to their own pockets.

This is a legit charity. Check out the website. www.communityclothingcentre.org or give them a call to find out where there centres are located. I recently lost my job and was not able to purchase clothing for myself or my children. One call to the Community Clothing Centre in London and I was welcomed to their centre where my children and I were able to get enough clothing to get us through for a while. Please dont knock any organization that does good for the community. I thank them with all my heart and wouldnt think twice to donate to them so others in the community could benefit the same way my family did.

They are a legit Charity and actually give the clothes away for FREE for people in need.  I have donated many of times in the London area.  They have 2 Centers in London and are trying to get more open thru Ontario  Here is the Website have a look  communityclothingcentre.org
