received from this # 1-258-369-8088 they asked for me i told him that i was not in the call sounted like it was out side of USA IT WAS A  GUY

I also received a call this afternoon.  He has been busy, hasn't he?  Same thing, if I had an internet connection, i may have downloaded some bad things.  Didn't get upset with me, just told me I wouldn't need to send any (more?) money, that he would fix it.  Interesting that it says 258 is not a valid area code.  Really  bad accent.

New number for the Indian windows tech support SCAMMERS.  All they want is remote access to your computer to extort money from you and steal your personal information.  There is no possible way they can know about problems on your computer unless they are your ISP or company IT Support staff.  Microsoft has a warning on their website about these type of scammers:

got a call today from this number and the man was obviously calling from india. very rude telling me to go to my computer becu=ause i had downloaded viruses from the internet. He would not answer any questions just kept trying to brow beat me. I have just put 2+2 together. I did business just last week with geeks 24/7 from india as well recommended from yahoo. They have since given my number to more scam artist in india.

Guy with lousy English called, stated he was from a company named "P.C. WIZARDS". He states infaticaly he is in Las Vegas when questioned about where he's located. Stated there is some kind of problem with my pc and he is going to help Me. He instructed me to get in front of my pc. I explained that he's reached me my cell phone & I am  not close to my computer. He wanted to set a time to call me back. I asked him: "at the end of the day are they going to want money". He changed the subject, said he was going to help me. I stated that I was not going to give out any information from or about my computer. I accused him of being part of a scam, to which he replied he was going to help me. The Second time I said there would be no information and inquired about where he gets the information he has....he hung up.

I AM CERTAIN THEY ARE FISHING FOR SOME KIND OF INFO THAT THEY CAN USE TO RIP ME OFF!

Just received a call from this number. said I was having things downloaded on my computer that were a problem. I asked how do you know this? asked company name and the man said T C Wizard(s). No such company listed on the web.

Seemed to have gotten a little agitated when I kept inquiring how would he know what is going on with  my computer. Finally I just hung up.

answered a call from this number and started some foreign accent speaking guy about problems with a computer and if I was at my computer.  I stated I don't use them, and he just hung up.  Couldn't get the company name he mentioned due to bad english speaking individual.

Called my number said hello, then hung up.

My elderly father received a call from this number and he said he couldnt understand what they said, but he thinks they were asking about his computer.  I called the number back and AT &T will not allow me to call the number from my cell phone.
