Got a call from this. Immediately heard that it's a scam on the news. Blocked the number and didn't call back.

I received two calls from this number.

Got this call this morning. Did not answer or call back. How do you block these calls? I tried my carrier but was told I can't block the numbers from this area because they have a 10 digit code like we do in the states. Thanks for input.

Got a one ring call from this number. I called back and it says wait for the operator with techno music in background. I hung up. After reading prior posts I'm calling my cell carrier and having them remove it from bill immediately.

Got. Call from this number a few days ago after researching an antigua vacation but not filling out any information. Seems too strange to be a coincidence.

Received a call from (268) 762-0040 Antigua/Barbuda.  Rang twice and they hung up.  I did not call back as this is a scam. They want you to call back so that they can charge you $20 for the call.  I had just heard about this type of scam in the news and then the next day I received the call.  This is not limited to any one phone carrier.  I have seen lots of posts with Verizon, but I have AT&T.

01FEB14 got a call at 10:25 at night, caller ID said Barbados / Antigua. No way was I answering that or calling them back.

Just got a call from 268-762-0040, only one ring.  As I didn't recognize the area code, decided to follow my standard procedure and look it up.  Glad I did and I am reporting the number to the DO NOT CALL registry.

We recently received a call from the above listed number.  When we tried to call back they put us on hold
for 10 minutes plus and then hung up.  We do not want these people to call our cell phone or our home phone. What do we need to do?

My cell phone only rang twice and then disconnected.
I think that they may have called my office phone also...not a good ideas as I work for my municipalities court system.
