All I can do is echo the last persons comments. The same exact thing happened to me.
I should have realized I was being scammed!!!  What a jerk I am. Please get these guys.
They are really pretty good actors!!!

Three calls from this company telling me that my computer was downloading viruses.  Made a big deal about having the ID number for my computer as proof that he was genuine.  Initially claimed to work for Microsoft, but finally admitted that he was not paid by Microsoft and that he would help me for a fee.

Sorry for not having in incoming call number, but it came in on a line without caller ID; this is the number that he wanted to be called back at (281-393-8103).  When called, they only answered with "hello."

All of them had an Indian accent.  Though this number is in TX, I presume this was routed to a call center in India.
