Bank of America calls 3 times a day and NEVER leaves a message. I have NO accounts with them.

I get calls daily and the caller id has this number and Bank of America.  I do have an account with them.  But, I know that if it's really BOA, they will leave a message.  This group never leaves a message.  I will report the calls and this number to Bank of America myself.

You can report this phishing call by sending an email to the fraud dept of Bank of America.  Send your email to abuse@bankofamerica.com.  Tell them the number that they call from, about how many times a week they call and what if anything they say to you.  Bank Of America will act on your reports.

This number appears on my CID once a day.  They hang up- dont leave a message but wont give up.
Apparently its BofA????  I do have a BOFA capital one card- they have called in the past to offer me some BS travel club crap.

Weird because I've NEVER been a BoA customer in any fashion. Perhaps it was a telemarketing call from them, dunno, didn't answer.

My wife just told me it was from Bank of America...they are promoting something, not sure what it is, I do have a small checking account with them.

They Called me afew min ago.. i dont bank with them at all. so why should i deal with em. good luck ya'll.

The computer record shows I received 11 calls from 281-763-7525, which I never answered.  My number is on "Do Not Call" list, and I never answer calls that are not registered on my caller ID list.  

If this is in fact from BOA, I warn you that you'd better watch your BOA/VISA card statement very closely.  

They signed me up for so called "BAC Private Assist ID Protection and Credit Management" without my authorization, and kept billing me $12.99 for 10 months.  When I finally caught up and complained, I was told that I only had 30 days to notice and file complaint about my VISA statement and it was my fault that I didn't notice the fact for 10 months.  They gave me a lecture that it is wrong for me to call this scheme a "FLAUDE" because in fact "BAC Private Assist ID Protection and Credit Management" is part/associate of Ban of America.

Apparently, they've been doing this for quite a while.  When you Google, you'll find a list of complaints.  For instance, a California man was suing BOA in February 2010.  Here's a link to an article.

I can give you a bunch more links, but I'll stop here.  Just watch out for all those unsolicited calls from anyone, especially BOA/Private Assist and any other financial institutions.

FYI: I am in process of writing a complaint, which will be sent to Bank of America and BOA Privacy Assist cc: a list of media.  

They have the nerve to take advantage of their own clients after we/tax payers bail them out!!!

Yeah i got a call from that number just a min ago so i googled that number and this website is my first choice lol. i hate when that happen! when i answer the call, they hang up on me. dumbass

been getting calls from this number AGAIN. I know it is BOA now. I thought maybe this Texas call was from family cell phone and I answered one day and it was BOA. I do bank with them and this call was wanting to sign me up for some type Security Protection for my accounts. I told them NO and they told me they had to sign me up for it but I could call and cancel in BEFORE 30  days was up. I  AGAIN told them NO. Told them that if 1 penny came out of my account I was suing cuz I told them NO!  NOW they at it again and I too and on the DO NOT CALL LIST! I dont think they pay no attention to that list.

They call and ask to speak to my wife. When I tell them to take me off of their call list, they won't do it without speaking to her. Ain't going to happin.

Calling every day for the past several days.  Finally answered and no one was on the other end.  The only place they could have got my number is from the phone book and I'm on the do not call list.

I keep getting phone calls from this number...they hang up and don't answer.

YEP. SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. RUDE PERSON. ABRUPT. SO I ACTED THE SAME WAY.

Blank noise, I kept saying "Hello" and trying to hang up. Finally, a guy came on the line and asked to speak to me, by name. I complained that I had been saying "Hello" to no response for about a minute. He complained back that he'd been doing the same. I told him he could be a smart-a** and I could hang up, or he could tell me why he called. He said I could hang up. I told him that I would do just that when I was good and ready to do so. He frickin' hung up on me! Gotta love this guy. He figured out all by himself that there was to be no sale with this call, and cut his wasted time...

Same thing happen to me i have gotten a call from this number and all they do is hang up.
