I have gotten two calls from the same area code. The first was a couple of weeks ago from 281-982-2498. I missed it, tried to call the number back, but when I did it said the number had been disconnected. Then this morning I got a call for 281-895-8431. Answered and got hung up on. Not going to try and call back.

Have a pay as you go phone and received this out of area call. Did not pick up as I have to pay for incoming and outgoing calls. I gave my other phone to a friend in CT and she got the same call on my old phone which the old number is still activated. Don't know who this is but it is difinately no one that we know because no one has our number as this is used for emergencies only!unknown

This number 2818958431 phoned about ten AM today and hung up when I answered. After I read several posted comments about similar 281 numbers, I called it back: male voice asking me to leave name and mailing address to receive ">a free card. "
If eligible ..... Prescription drug card.....
.but isn't it dangerous to just give our your name and address over the phone to a stranger?? Who are these people?

Someone called unknown from this phone number 281-895-8431. They need to stop calling and take my phone number off their calling list!!!!!!!
