They called three times in a minute.  The first time they asked for a member of my family who wasn't home.  They then called back twice more and didn't say anything.  I called the number back and it was reported as not in service at this time.

Different number, same people.  They asked if I was the person in the household who had diabetes.  I asked how they got medical records.  They said someone in the household had filled out a form "recently or sometime in the past" saying someone in the household had diabetes.   I replied "I was the only one in the household, and had never filled out such a form.  May I speak to a manager?"  click

Next time,  reply, "Oh, yes, you mean Joe.  Will you hold on while I get him?"   Then put the phone down until it complains that it is off the hook.   Every minute they wait will reduce their call volume and salary.  You can extend the game by checking in a minute to see if they are still there.  If they are, say "Joe will be just a few more minutes.  If they could please be patient, he will be with them in a moment."

It's very satisfying, without costing you much time.

Over the last week and a half, I have received an average of 2 calls a day. I finally let the person speak beyond identifying him or herself and the next question was "Do you have diabetes?. I immediately hung up.

Not exactly the same number, but the same people, circumstances a lot like the guy above reported.  The number on my caller ID was 302-752-1422.  He asked for me by name (Philip, with heavy Indian accent) and I told him no one lived here by that name, LOL.  He asked me to verify the number, which I did, but I told him there was no one here by that name.  Then he launched into his spiel and I hung up on him.  I have had good results in the past by claiming they had the wrong number.  Hope it will work this time too.

On the 8th call today I was home and I answered it while I was on the Internet
doing a reverse look up on the number of 302-747-7777 to see who was calling.
After about 3 or 4 seconds a man with a very strong accent, Indian I suspect,
immediately started asking me if there was anyone living in my house with
diabetes.  After asking him several times who he was with, he told me he was
with ?Seniors Diabetes Network?.  I told him to slow down because I was writing it
down and when I did he hung up on me.   When I Googled it it came up with the
following website - http://seniordiabetesnetwork.com.  I haven?t read the whole
thing yet but from what little I did read it appears to be another scam to defraud
Medicare part B at the taxpayers expense for diabetes supplies and electric
scooters.  I plan on writing a letter to the Attorney Generals office in Delaware
this weekend and one to Medicare as well.  Don?t waste your time complaining to
the FCC because I have been told by a supervisor that handles the Do Not Call
and Junk Fax sections that they had ?no intentions of doing anything about any
of these calls because they were underfunded and overworked and that I should
contact my congressman and tell them that they (the FCC) needed more
funding?.   And the government wants to raise the rates and cut the benefits for
Medicare and people wonder why!
