they also contacted me, recieved a call from telephone number 00 and was offered a fantastic job however far far far above my level, so to hear i was shortlisted on the second day i knew it was rubbish they were selling.

i didn't appreciate having around 40 mins of my time wasted throughout the 2 phone calls so i preceded to send abusive emails to the contact to the point where he actually called me on his mobile phone to try and pre tent i was in trouble with his company (load of cr*p)

anyway, if anyone was actually scammed and wants to follow up with the police, the mobile number he called me from was  0557704573

Did anyone finished with them till the end at least to know if they are really scammers. i had the same and i did accepted to do the masters degree i paid unfortunately and still waiting to do the assessment of telephone. the university that called is know as per google. but i do agree that this is b***s*** but did anyone tried to see if this degree is trustworthy??

I received similar calls from different numbers...

I received the same call from "ideal recruiters", first from an "unknown number", then from +1-777-279 0608, then from +1-877-961 7060, total calls received so far are 28, I guess more will come...

They presented themselves as headhunters called "ideal recruiters" based in California and recruiting for a multinational company based in Dubai (where i live), they can't tell me the name of the company until we reach the final stages of the interviews and after an hour interview Mr. George Morrison (as he presented himself) was convinced I'm the right candidate and he sent me the first email below, he explained in the beginning of the conversation that it will be recorded as he has to share it with his superiors, there was no money request; however the only concern he had that I didn't have an MBA, there was no mention of degree or money.

Next day his superior called and I was the main candidate for the job and all i needed to do is get my MBA based on experience and the company will pay all expenses except administration flee of 500USD.

They both sounded professional and friendly and had a copy of my resume with all my details. Initially I got suspicious from email text that was lacking spaces between words and the second call confined my gut feeling when they offered the magical MBA and requested 500USD. An email followed our conversation requesting my documents (Second email below), the university details and link was suppose to be given to me in a 3rd call.

They are scammers, dont believe them. They offer you a wonderful job package and tell you need masters degree to get the job. Of course they have the solution! And it costs you 500 USD only to get the masters in less than a week so you dont miss the job!

Bottom line its a scam

Thanks for this information, I get call from them just ride now but Alhamdulillah I was driving my car and I doubt that no. came from the USA , I search about the no. and I found this .... thanks a lot for the advice.

Guy calls as if he's from an official recruitment agency in California, name is Mark Wilson,
and he gives you exact information about yourself (probably got them from online websites or linkedin or so), then tells you about a Job opportunity in your country, and that you are a close match, but emphasizes on the fact that you don't have masters degree, (because it's a requirement from the Company recruiting).

Then tells you that you are shortlisted within another 10 candidates, and the exact day after he tells you that you are shortlisted among only two other candidates, but there will be pre-requirement of you having a masters degree in marketing, so that you become eligible for the Job, and that you can get a scholarship to one of the esteemed university in the states, by having a pre-assessment based on your experience, then  you might be able to get the masters degree certificate within 4 weeks.

then sends you a couple of links telling you that there would be an enrollment fee of 500 USD, to start the pre-assessment of the scholarship, but is 100% refundable if you did not pass...

Bottom line, they give you a beautiful story that gets your hopes up high, but at the end, you understand with a big gut feeling that they are a very organized and established SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!

They might give you a call with different stories, so be careful!!!  

Fake Recruiters.. Trying to put you on master degree scholarship program with 20 hours for 500 uS$

No real job posting as we'll there are no real companies as we'll .

Well, I'm part of the club. I've been contacted yesterday by the same number from someone called Marshall Smith, which is a very common name. The conversation lasted 15 mn, and it was about qualifications and so on, and that they really like my profile and experiences. The position was really higher than my profile which puts some doubt, the wage was more than twice what i'm actually guetting, so it was really exciting. Than I was back to earth. Few points let me think they are scam: Qualifications under Job requirements - Very big wage - Their website is not well functionning - The email they've sent came to my Spam and not my Inbox - The guy is not even on LinkedIn which is the first thing a recruiter does - He started talking about my Qualifications and that he will talk to his managers to approve me - They offer a maintained company car although it's administrative managerial post + monthly Fuel allowance - too many allowances you don't think about...
Wish it will help people avoiding cheaters.

I live in Saudi Arabia and they offer me a job that will pay me around 8K/month but the only thing missing from my resume is a  master degree and they want me to pay $499 to get master degree by experiences. IT'S SCAM A >>>>>BE CAREFUL.
