Got a call from Adamo, Alberto saying they were looking for a family relative to issue some court documents and wanted personal information on that person.  They left a phone number but when they called the number back it stated that the number was invalid and could not accept incoming calls.

Alberto Adamo -  Some kind of telemarketer for home remodeling business.  Told him I was on DNC registry.  Claimed he spoke with my husband who told him to call back. NOT TRUE. He became very rude and argumentative and asked me what the point of being on the DNC registry was if my husband told him to call back.  Anger issues.

Caller ID showed Adam Alberto, didn't answer and no message was left.

This guy called me from 310-748-6419. Wanted to know if I wanted any construction work done.  I told him I was not interested. He has called on average 4-6 times per day, everyday, since last week when I told him I was not interested.  I do not answer the phone and he still calls, yet does not leave a message.

This Adamo Alberto guy kept calling our # so one day I answered it. He said he called us before and we asked him to call back in 6 months, so he was calling. I asked him where we met - he could not answer.  I told him we might need a contractor later so leave his info. He said his name was Alex and the company name was I Need a Contractor.

He kept calling us so I said okay he can come to give us an estimate for a tree removal. Then, quickly he said estimate is free but their project must be more than $1,500, and we both need to be home when they come.  It was super quick that he transferred his call to his "secretary" to book an appointment.

Later I did some research on the internet and found out who they are so I had my husband cancel the appointment, also asked them not to call us again. Then, this Alex guy called AGAIN so I told him we changed our mind, also not to call us again.  I told him we will call him when we are ready.  Then, he said "WE DON"T NEED YOUR BUSINESS!" then hang up.

When we were in the DC area, we had never received such weird calls.  State of CA needs to do something about this.

Supposed address mentioned in other post ... Las Palmas Ave exists in Carlsbad, CA, but all #s are in the 2000 block. There is no 213 Las Palmas. Good try with a legit street in a legit business park. Do they not know we have access to internet?

They supposedly "share" cell phones for when they are in the field. This call came from a cell listed to Alberto Adamo. The caller I.D. showed (310) 748-6419. Guy named Kevin called saying he was in my neighborhood so wanted to stop by to estimate any work I might need done. (I could tell he was in an office due to the background noise.) I told him I was sick in bed with a cold ... that one works wonders this time of the year. I did get an address. Havent gone by it yet to verify but here it is ... 213 Las Palmas, Carlsbad, CA. It does exist per Mapquest. Hope this helps.

Adamo Alberto seems to call 2-3 times per week according to my call blocker log.  I guess his robocall equipment doesn't recognize a one-ring hangup and he is too stupid to know how to deal with it.  I'm happy to continue to waste his calling pennies!

Stupid me, filled out one of those "get an instant free quote for your remodeling project" websites, and after that, this guy has started calling me. They don't even do the kind of projects I need (FHA loan). But they keep calling. This one time, the guy was SO HIGH. Rambling on about weird stuff about how "people don't understand you like I do babe", and how he's just had hip surgery and if I don't get him the work, his family will starve... High as a kite. His name was Mike.

Another guy who calls me is called Anthony.

And yeah, you can hear the telemarketers in the background.
And they NEVER say which company they're calling from ? just "hey it's Mike".

I have now received 3 calls from this number with the fake Cnam of Adamo Alberto.  They have not left any messages, typical tactic of illegal telemarketers.  I have added the number to my call blocker's blacklist.

This Adamo Alberto guy, phone # 310-748-6419 called me today and after I told him NOT to call this # again, I hung up, just to have him call back from another #, (714) 272-2694, and when I answered he started yelling at me, calling me a F*ing B*., so I told him off and hung up on him again.
He called back for a third time, but I turned our fax line on, so he could tell the fax machine off this time.  A***ole!
He was very aggressive and scary.  

Caller ID is both ADAMO ALBERTO and SANCHEZ DIEGO.  Caller identified himself as Larry and wants to come to my house to give me an estimate to paint.  I told him I would be out for a month and to call back- really, I told someone that I would be gone a month.  What a nut I am.

Alberto Adamo & Isabella (Construction Contractors?) are preying on vulnerable Elderly/Senior Citizens and SCAMMING them out of their money. They use this telephone number: 310-748-6419 (maybe others as well), but when you try calling them they have an answering machine message saying they're unavailable/aren't taking calls at the moment. Somebody PLEASE find these people and STOP them from RIPPING OFF our Elderly/Seniors Citizens. They can and will (someday-somehow) prey on and scam your Family, Friends, Loved Ones, etc. Law Enforcement and ANYONE who cares and can help, PLEASE get involved ASAP! Reverse lookup shows the phone number to be a Gardena, CA number but the person could pretty much be based anywhere if it is a cellphone. By coincidence we are already having work done to our house by a licensed contractor so I'm sure we got on someone's phone list along the way while looking for a contractor and getting estimates. I remember the same spike in this type of call over 10 years ago after going to one of those "Home and Garden" shows (never again!), so be wary of who you give your contact info to, even if they are a "brick and morter" store (no pun intended) - they all seem to share/sell it once they get it and unwanted calls to us continued 2-3 years after we had already completed the earlier construction project over 10 years ago. I suppose with our newest project we can probably expect a renewed 2-3 year annoyance! Anyway after reading some of the earlier complaints, thought I'd add my input

Yes, this appears to be a scam.  He told me that I had called him in April and that I told  him to call me back....some people probably don't remember who they called in April and might give their address for an estimate.  DON'T do it!!!  They appear to be cold-calling for business leads.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be Michael Worthy.  He said that I had called him in April about doing some work on my house.  I never called him, don't know him, don't want to know him.  Yes, I would agree with John.  It seems to be a scam to get leads on doing construction work....BEWARE!

Very rude telemarketer.  A***ole has been asking for me in particular, hangs up on anyone before they can even politely explain that I'm not home, and then when I finally took the call he hung up on me as soon as I told him that I did not want him to come by to drop off an estimate for a new bathroom project.  They seem to be a marketing company paid on leads they get for contractors to provide bids for remodel or handyman work.  This should be illegal.

Don't give this guy any info. He's violent.  He kept calling and eventually went off saying, "You think you're talking to a child? You don't know who you're talking to!" when I told him not to call again. Slightly psycho. Called himself Larry when I spoke with him.

Home Improvement Telemarketer Scam.

If they call you, do not answer. I made the mistake of taking the call and they keep calling to try to set an appointment for home repairs. We are on the Do Not Call Registry, but it doesn't matter to these alleged scammers!

I've received several calls this week from this number but since I don't know anyone who a 310 number I haven't answered but my sister finally answered and a some guy come on the line asking for my brother who doesn't even live here. My sister told him my brother wasn't here and he sounded frustrated and said "f***, I'll just try some other day" and hung up. My sister tired to call the number back but it sound the number was unavaible. Then he called back like 20 mins later and told my sister he was going to come to our house and kill her and hung up. My sister called the police and they said they can't do anything unless someone comes to our house and tries to do something. : /

second call this month.  Didn't answer and they left no message.

I just got a call from this number, asking to come look at my house.  When I asked how he got my name he hung up on my - suspicious

Silly me.  I picked up because I thought I recognized the phone number and said "Hello."  Could hear voices but no one spoke.  Finally a young woman said "Hello?"  I said "Hello" for the 2nd time and she hung up on me.  Now I realize that I probably heard the other telemarketers speaking in the background.  Stupid scammers, hanging up after I answer their ridiculous calls by mistake.  Now that I have checked my old call log, I probably thought I recognized their local number because they call so frequently.

Didn't pick up so wasn't sure who called, only that I didn't know them. It's always better to NOT pick up and be thought of as a responder, so I don't anymore. Best part is I'm on an island where there is no way on earth they would come to do contracting work! I will block them with my land line phone as I am on the do not call registry (for all that's worth) and have a Uniden phone which allows blocking of 10 numbers. This will be one. Thanks for the information everyone.
