Who are these people and what do they want? They have called me 10 times in 2 days. Weird thing is they know my last name.....so if they call again I'm gonna say "bite me".....it's not like I asked them to call.

Actually, telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008.

I also get several daily annoying calls from 310-862-9039, but last week I started making my fax machine pick up those calls, and I haven?t received any calls from that number for a few days. This morning I received a hang-up call from 410-774-8252, when I called it back I heard the same recording I heard when I called 310-862-9039.

YPR APPEARS ON THE CALLER ID, BUT, AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS OF SILENCE, THE LINE DISCONNECTS

Have you filed a formal complaint yet? We are also on the do not call list and continue to received phone calls from this company, all day long. It's quite aggrivating. I will be filing an informal complaint this afternoon, but I wonder, if we all filed formal complaints to the FCC, would we see a better response?

very annoying!!!!

By the way, I also called customer service at Pac West (since they are providing phone service to YPR) and complained. They said they'll look into it. I'm not holding my breath but will let you know if I hear anything.

We've been getting calls from YPR 3 to 4 times a day, 7 days a week, for about three weeks now.
I am ALREADY on the Do Not Call list (have been for a couple of years now) and have been reporting each call from YPR to the FCC's web site.
I even called my phone company and told them we've probably been called 50+ times by this number, each time a hang-up -- and the phone company told me to call the police.
YPR has crossed the line here. First, I'm going to file a police report. Then I'm going to contact a lawyer specializing in class action. I suggest everyone call their local police. Maybe somebody will do something.

So I got a call from them today and called back and got the enter your # message, I too didn't trust it. So I decided toand start doing research on them. That's what brought me here. I found the National do not call list, and submitted the info. Not five minutes later they called again. Only this time someone came onto the line. They are a marketing firm in connection the the Yellow Pages, Inc. The link is below. I told her I was going on the National Reg. and told her to put me on their list as well. Hopefully this helps.

I have noticed this number on my caller id several times and was finally able to answer it today. I heard a woman's voice say "hello" and then I was quickly disconnected.
When I called back, I heard the same thing everyone else did and like Alfred, I'm leery of putting my number in to be removed from their list. I just added my number to the Do Not Call list but it won't take effect until next month I believe since I missed the last deadline.

Go to https://www.donotcall.gov/ this will remove your # from all call lists for 5 years. This works for land line and cell phones.
You can also call 888-382-1222. You need to call from each phone number you have to block each number.
I also called the # back and a recording said that my number will be removed from the call list in 2 biz days

I received a call today, but did not answer. They did not leave a msg. I'm going to be sure to add my # to the government's do not call registry!

We are getting 3-4 calls every day, including weekends. I would love to join a class action suit against these guys because nothing seems to stop the barrage of disconnected calls.

We got a call this evening. Annoying.

Got one just a few minutes ago. I called back but am a bit skeptical that the only option is to enter your number to be removed. Seems to me they could be building a database of valid numbers and then be able to bypass the do not call list since they have now "done business with you".
| Faith 2007-10-18 15:19:41 Unknown |
Got one today, was unable to answer, no message was left.

I constantly get calls from ypr numerous times a day, yet no message and I also have tried to get it to stop, yet nothing seems to work. Does anyone even know what or who they/it is?
| Lynn 2007-10-16 14:55:22 Unknown |
We are getting the same calls. I finally just called the # back and it says to enter your phone # to be removed from their call list. That's what I did - they say it will take two business days to be removed from the list. Hopefully it works. Good luck!

I have been getting several calls from YPR. When I answer the call disconnects after 5 to 10 seconds. And what??! How can I stop this?
