I got a text from this number saying i applied for a job and to call them at 888-907-1430

FYI- THIS MUST BE A SCAM!!!!
My text message read:
Hi XXXX, I just reviewed your application for the Patient Access Position you applied for.  Please call me at 888-310-7354.

***I could tell that it was a scam because my first name was misspelled and anyone communicating about a job wouldn't misspell your first name of all things or ask you to call back in a text message.

I got hopeful and responded to the text. I wonder if these people have stories about their job like most people do. Like when they are telling their friends about how happy and hopeful the people sound at the beginning of the call then begin to sound defeated and hopeless when they realize that it is all a scam. That must be so funny for them.

I also recieved this message for a admin position that I was looking for on Craigslist. I called the 312-636-4440 and spoke with Theresa who asked me my name and I wouldn't give it to her and I repeated my phone number and asked her to take my number off their list but then she called me by name and said that she will tell the employer that I do not want to be contacted in a very pissy way made me 100% sure that I want nothing to do with her or their company.

Just got a text from 312-636-4440 about a job asked me to call a 888 number went to my cell service site and just blocked the number so they can not call or text me end of problem, would suggest all people that recieve text from this number do the same.

Same damn thing, msg says: Hi (My last name) I just reviewed your application for the Delivery Driver position you applied for. Please call me at 888-260-2490.

Received a text message from this number saying they reviewed my application for a customer service position applied for and to call 888-523-1045.  Wow glad i checked it on here before i called in back.  Wow a spam!!!!!!

I agree with everyone -- this is an 'unethical' contact number.  I am done with attempting to find employment on Craig's List.  .... as if times aren't hard enough.  (sigh)

Craigs list is a joke.. full of theives and phishers trying to get your personal information, dont ever send a resume to a company and for gods sake nevr use your SS# when replying to anyone online. These people have called they have texted and are relentless. I refuse to verify my information on the phone with anyone.

I have been applying for jobs via craigslist as well and received a text saying that they had just reviewed my application for a secretarial position and listed that number.  The actual text came from 312.636.4440 but it asked me to call back an 888 number. I knew something was not right about that.

Wow, I am glad for the internet in this respect. I received the same as all of you above. In the meantime, all of you keep your heads high and I pray that all of you get the desired job you have been looking for. God Bless all of you!

I am glad I googled this as well. I received a text stating the same thing, that they had reviwed my application for a Customer Service job and to call 888-304-4360

I just received a text about an app for road crew, with this number and decided to google it. glad i did because the one getting pissed would of been me when they wouldn't of give me the information i was asking for.

I got a text using my name, and it said we just reviewed your application for the receptionist position you applied for..Please call me at 888-304-4360. I knew something wasn't right!

Received 4 text messages from this number saying they reviewed my application for a receptionist positionI applied for and to call 888-523-1045.  Instead, I called the 312 number back, "Diana" from "The Employee Network" answered "Hello is this _____ " - she used my first name.  She claimed she was a third party service for an "employer who wanted to remain confidential".  She proceeded to try to "verify" my information but declined to answer the job engine she got my number from.  She got very irritated when I refused to give information and when I told her most employers don't text perspective employees, she replied, "But that is your opinion, correct?  Should I just tell them you are not interested and we will not contact you anymore, then?"  I think she got pissed when I told her yes LOL - SPAM indeed.
