Just got off the chat help on charter because I have been getting these calls for quite some time now. I got tired of them not leaving messages or just hanging up when I answered. Numerous calls almost everyday is insane. The person on the customer service chat said that they were marking my account to not be called for marketing purposes anymore. We'll see how long that lasts.

Yep - it's Charter.  They've been calling our phone twice a day for weeks now.  On hold calling them now.  About to b**** slap 'em over the phone.

SERIOUSLY, if they're calling you, call them and tell them you're about to leave for a different provider.  We've been customers of theirs for years and they're treating us like THIS?  They need to receive a message that they're p*ssing off their customer base.  What a shoddy operation.

Was Charter Communications trying to get me to upgrade for the 2nd time in 3 days. Told them politely I was not interested again, had several missed calls from this number on my caller ID. They are now offering a buyout where the will match $200 of your early termination fee with other providers if you bundle with them as a service credit, but I am happy with DirecTV. No thanks.

I've tried not to be angry at Charter, because for all I know it's some error they don't even know about (it kind of has to be, I mean, they dont talk to us when they call) so I called them and they apologized and put "do not call" on my account, so now I wont get any sales calls from them. And as for this mysterious nuisance number that keeps calling, I gave them that and they're reporting it to the higher ups. As i said, I've always liked the service Charter gives. I've got no problem with them as a company, so ...I figured best thing was just to give them the benefit of the doubt, let them know what's going on, and they were very nice about it. ;)

I have Charter for internet, they called me 5 times today to up sell me.  I just called and ask to have my phone number removed from my account.  They said it would take 24 hrs then after that I would not be bothered again.

Stop calling me

Number calls at least twice a day no message.

Report them to the do not call registry. (1-888-382-1222). Tell them it's an automated message that comes multiple times per day. If enough people complain, they'll get shut down. The registry works! Sign up if you havent. It will stop most nuisance calls from happening.

Customer called AT&T about receiving calls from this number almost every day multiple times a day with noone on the other end.  Did some research and called number, it's Charter!

I called the number back and it is Charter trying to sell additional services.
