I thought it was a little absurd when I got the email stating that they had 'seen me previously' and that they had 'kept' my 'info'.  Granted, I have been using the same email address since the dawn of time, but really.  I left LA seven years ago and now live in Washington State.  I remember being warned about Casting Elite back when I was a young naive little starlet wannabe.  If Gina is just getting started, then I doubt casting is open for out of state talent.  I am pretty well booked up here, so, sorry Gina.

I received the exact same text, but for a cologne commercial! And when, I never responded I received the exact same text from a different number...weird. I don't feel comfortable doing it.

 Wasn't quite sure what to make of this when I got the text, especially when I could open the link on my phone. Admittedly, I've got to upgrade that piece of crap. So I called and talked to Gina. She had me try it from my Laptop when I got home. I had no problem when I tried it that way.
 Figured I'd give it try, especially since I didn't have to drive across town, or mail a video or DVD somewhere. Seems like more people are are doing castings online nowadays. Makes sense I guess. Didn't post a resume yet, but even if I do eventually it sounds cheaper than a couple other sites I've heard of.

Weird that so many are getting negative feedback. I signed up yesterday . I was able to submit my video and it is attached to my profile right now. I would give it a chance and see how it goes

This is a joke.  Got the same message and it doesn't add up.  Don't waste your time, just use trusted sites Actors Access/LaCasting/Backstage  

I have been modeling for 5 years in la now and hate driving to castings . I just joined the site and it didn't charge me . It seems pretty legitimate to me

Is it for the cell phone commercial? It seemed sort of shady to me but I don't know what to make of it.

I received the same text, called the number and spoke to Gina Simon. I told her that I wanted to be sure that she was legit though there was no way of verifying that since she said she had no website because she was just getting started in the business. I decided to go for it and recorded the audition, created a profile, uploaded the video to the site and even added another video of my 2 monologues. I did try to upload my resume and saw that I'd have to pay, but in the case of this audition, it wasn't important to do that.

I have been a professional, union actor for 30 years and pay for added features on imdb and Now Casting. If this was a scam, they aren't doing it right. I was able to create a free pofile, submit 2 videos and a link to my Now Casting profile. All free. I'll be pissed if this was all a waste. I spent a lot of time on that damned video! lol. I called Gina again to see if she got my video submission. I left a message. We'll see. I'll be pissed if it IS a scam. I spent way too much time recording that audition! lol

OMG me too. I just got that same exact text today.

Received a text message fro 323-992-4033, saying Prima Productions pulled me from their 'file' and thought I might want to try out for their new production.  Said to go to http://getcast.in/prima-ad  -  which took me to https://www.castingelite.com/prima-ad - where you have to create a 'free' profile to submit to this print ad audition, THEN when you want to upload your resume, it says you can't do that unless you pay 4.99/month as an 'Elite' member.  

Don't bother - this is just one of those websites, saying it has real casting notices for actors and print models, but is completely bogus.
