Got a call asked for my wife when u asked who it was he asked again for her and u asked him who this us and ge saud" I don't gave tune fir this s*** and hung up". Scam us all over this

I just received a call from 334-578-2918 and the idiot said he was calling for the Montgomery Firefighters Burn Fund. I used to donate to firefighters all the time because I was married to one. Years have passed and I am no longer able to work and I'm on disability so with a fixed income I can't afford to donate any longer. Well as a result of donating once I've had the breast cancer foundation, Make a wish foundation, Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation, Boys and Girls Ranch and on and on and on. I explained my financial situation to this man and he started telling me how rude I was and hung up in my face.

Want to know who's number this is.

Repeated calls from (334) 578-2918 and (334) 578-4015. Caller ID says Montgomery,AL.
No messages ever just repeated hangups.

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

Keeps calling even I told them no. Next day calls again. I said no u can hear a t.v blasting in the background and other people talking. I believe its some one just out to get money for themselfs.

Got a call from "A Child's Wish".  Asked for a $20 donation.  I agreed thinking it was a legit organization.  They sent a bill for the $20 along with a brochure, which they told me over the phone they would do.  When I got the information, I got suspicious, and after checking on the internet, I believe them to be a scam.  So I will not send the donation.

The woman said she was from some program that grants dying children their last wish, all she was asking for was $20.  When I told her the only extra cash we have is at the end of the month, she hung up on me.  Guess the kids aren't that important, I would think the promise of $20 at the end of the month would be better then nothing.

I think I have gotten more crap calls since I signed up for the "DO NOT CALL" registry

KEEPS CALLING

My caller ID listed this number as coming from Montgomery, AL. Since I don't know anybody who lives there, I let my machine pick up. No one on the other end ever said anything. As soon as my message was finished, there was an immediate dial tone. I don't know why I ever bothered to sign up for the Do Not Call Registry.
