Terrible terrible terrible....  I keep getting a message from this guy once a month.  He is now calling my cell number with and 911 shows up as a caller ID.  I suppose this supposed to make you answer.  He has called me for a bout 2 years.  Sometimes going every 6 months, and from different numbers and different names.  But all the same exact voice and script.   I feel for it once and even made a payment, but had my bank redeposit my money after investigation.  I was lucky for that.  But now, he is calling again with the threats of issuing a warrant if I do not call back.  He is going by Sgt. David Black.... aka Paul Nixon.  Indian and very intimidating. Also calls from 540-322-5475 and 540-308-4068.

I received the same call today at my job and when I asked for documentation he refused and started yelling at me.  So I hung up.  He then called back and spoke to my supervisor stating he was Jason Connor with the State Financial Dept and he has info of a financial complaint with United Cash Advance.  He called from 206 area code.

Just recieved a call from a jason connor from the state financial dept nasty hardly can speak english leaving a message for an employee stating a complaint has been filed against him this is such a scam, there are the privacy acts and no one calls a business threating like that watch out this people are scam artists play with them its fun, dont believe them dont give them any money it is a scam, but I love to mess them up tell them you are recording thier conversation watch how fast they hang up

The same thing happened to me I took out an internet loan and payed over $500 for a $200 loan, I changed all my info too and the same guy called me said he was going to sue me for fraud and started naming all these counts, and my social security number. He told me to call him back by the end of the day or I was going to be sued. From your experience did anything ever come up from this?
I did allot of research and it seems like these guys violate allot of laws. Seems like they are from India or something and they're call seemed very scripted

I've received two separate calls AT WORK from this same man with a heavy Indian accent making the same threats.  He said his name was "Albert" with the Department of Federal Crimes from this number.  I, like you Mary B., foolishly took out two separate online loans a while back. I've learned my lesson but now I'm being harassed by this jerk!

This man calls me from this number and the other bogus numbers and goes by the name of Albert Smith from the Federal Crimes Investigation. He told me that my paycheck will be garnished and or I will faced time in jail for fraud...When asked to provide email documentation and a current address of where he works, He became real stupid in the head..He got frustrated with me and hung up the phone,lol. This crook really needs to be put under the jail!!! He is only doing this because he is desperate and he knows that the law is slow about looking into such matters as this..but that's ok people because one day someone is going to get his butt real good!! Trust me!!

I got the same phone call from work.  I think when I applied for an online loan, they spammed my information all over the internet.  A guy with an Indian accent saying that I was under a federal investigation and to call him back, but when you call back you get an answering machine.  If this was really from the Feds, then they would have busted my door down, it's just a scam.

My mom had the same thing happen to her, Tom Adkins,... He is awful!!!! He has called her several times and even calls her work, I have even received phone calls on my cell looking for her, I called the police, they talked to him to tell him to stop calling, he even yelled at the officer.  make sure you report everytime he calls, this website will be looked at I have sent a link to everyone I know to be on the look out.  This guy has got to be stopped!!!!  This is awful!!!

I just got a call today from this man, he calls me at home and at work!!

Caller Kevin Martin was extremely rude / threatening saying he was walking into court and needed to know what I was going to do about it.  I asked what company he worked for he said he didn't it was a law firm......so I asked the name and he said Credit Inquiry something.  I asked for his manager's name he said it was Mark Grayton.  Same thing.....he had my social # an new where my bank account was.

I had a pink call me from this number. Doesn't even speak english but felt its ok to leave a nasty voice mail. Needless to say authorities will be contacted

The same thing just happened to my daughter.  I can't figure out how they got MY cell phone number.  I took down their name - Tom Atkinson - and this phone number and had her call him back.  She did and HE already had her name, SS #, address, etc.  He said if she didn't pay the $89,000 that she owed, she was going to jail.  This is just scary!  And something needs to be done!

I got a voice-mail left on my cell phone from a very loud-speaking man with an accent which is obviously from somewhere in the Indian sub-continent, or nearby.  That is especially odd since he alleged his name was "Kevin Martin".  He asked for a woman who I do not know and alleged that there were criminal charges pending against her, aside from rattling off four numbers which he claimed were the last 4 of her SSN.  He threatened that her job could be lost and to act soon or she was on her own.

this guy is harrassing people,, calling after 9pm and before 8am,, someone needs to shut these scam artists down!!

Jason Connor had a very heavy Indian accent as well.

This man by the name of Jason Connor contacted my job and spoke with two supervisors, telling them that he is from the financial crimes investigation and that I was being investigated for a fraudulent crime.  When I spoke with him, he was beligerent in tone and repeatedly told me that if I did not pay him immediately, he was going to get my fired and that I was going to jail.  I had my attorney call him and Jason Connor stated "see you in the courthouse" and repeatedly  hung up the phone.  In one day, he called my employer at least 10 times.  I foolishly took out an internet loan in August 2010 for $500, but repaid $875.  They kept taking money out of my account, so I changed my account number.  They found my new account number through my social security number and continued to take out the money.  Finally, I contacted my bank to prevent them from withdrawing any more money.  And then the phone calls from Mr. Connor began.  Please protect yourself from this man.  I have filed a complaint with the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs.  He is very dangerous, will threaten your livelihood and freedom, as he has done me.

Same thing happened to my daughter. In fact, he did it yesterday and when she woke up this morning, her bank account had been emptied! She didn't even give him any numbers but the money was taken out and sent to Mumbai or Dubai India!

I was at work when my boss brought me a message stating that I needed to call Tom Atkinson right away at this number. I called him back on my lunch break and he told me I had three charges against me for Fraud. He asked me if all the information he had on me like my address, social security number, birthday, email address, and my state id number.Then he asked me if I wanted to settle this matter outside of court and I said yes. I asked him how to make a payment and he told me to get a piece of paper and a pen to write down word for word what he said. I did just that and at the end of the letter he told me to put my 16 digit card number down along with the card type, expiration date, the full name on the card, the 3 digit security number on the back, and the pin number. He told me if I didn't pay by the end of business today then I will be arrested at my job in the morning. I called the police about this already. This whole thing is messed up.

I just received the exact same call from the same numbers.  The man said his name was David Christopher, with a heavy indian accent.  This is not the first time they have called, threatening to come to my job and arrest me.  I'm calling them back right now and am not getting a response, just a voice mail message.  I hope no one seriously falls for this dangerous scam.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!! I received several calls from tel numbers 347-289-3012 and 052-69-5757 (international # from Burma). It was the same person with heavy Indian accent. He identified himself as Officer David Black with American Financial Crime Unit. He had my full social security number and said he was going to send an investigation officer to my work and that I was going to lose my social security number and job if I did not cooperate. He wanted me to fax my driver's license, social security card, credit card number with expiration date and three digit security code on back. Is this guy an idiot? If this was a true collection agency he would not need all that information and I would receive info by mail. Once I confronted him about being a scam and told him I was recording his calls, he never called back.

I received a phone message from this number from a man with a very heavy Indian accent claiming that he is Officer David Slick from the American Financial Crimes Investigation Department.  He said someone I know is involved in fraud and they had my name and information to get more information about this matter.  It sounded very fishy, and when I researched the company through the internet I was led to a website listing complaints about these type of phone calls.  And when I researched the phone number I was led to this website. Apparently it is a huge and dangerous scam ring.  Do not get involved.

I had this man call me from this number and he left me a threatening message that I have violated a federal crime. I called the number back and there was no response. He had the last four digits of my social security and he said that I could lose my job. I don't have a job at the moment. So I really don't understand what this man's agenda is.
