they call 4-5 times a day and everyday of the week and do not leave a message

We have been getting calls for several years now from these people and they keep asking for Ian. As much fun as I have scream at them they should know by now that Ian doesn't live here. I keep asking them how stupid are they but they just tell me I can't talk to them that way. Yes I can you are calling my phone and I can talk anyway I want.

This is a scam.  Claims to represent various charities, but the police say that they have lots of complaints about this number.  Checked with Sec. of State charities commission... they warn that this number is not associated with a legitimate charity.

The following numbers call daily; some call multiple times a day. They all ask for money, even those who start with, "I am not asking for money." I have asked them to stop calling and to put my number on their "Do No Call" list. They do not comply with my request as required by law. In fairness,  after my last request, Maritz Research  did take a week off before resuming their calling.... and they have only called once a day this past week and not their  usual 3 or 4 times a day....

Claims to be a fund raising center.  Local police department says it's a SCAM.
Police can't do anything because the "call doesn't originate in their jurisdiction".

What crap.

These people call me every other day it seems. I have asked them to stop and they go through their same spiel it takes 72 hours blah blah but guess who calls me again asking for a donation? They are awful and I wish they would stop calling period but especially after 8pm when my little ones are in bed.

A call blocker might be your best bet.

These people call my house every other day and after 8 pm and same song and dance as others have stated. I am on the do not call list as well. How does one stop these annoying, harassing calls? I like the whistle idea. I know my kids have one.

Phone rings but know one talks/ have said to stop calling my number. But, I keep getting calls from this number.

**SCAM**

A female caller asked my elderly mother: "If I send you an envelope will you send a $30 donation for breast cancer research"?  
She said no.  The caller replied: "Well we would be willing to take just half of that, would $15 work?".  Really? My mother again declined, then had to say no a couple of more times before ending the conversation.  It sounded fishy to me that a legitimate company would be so inconsiderate as to call on a Sunday at 5pm, prime family/dinner time.  

I then called the number 360.252.9548 back and, of course, got a busy signal.  

I received a call from this number at 7:36 pm. I agree with the others that it first sounded like a recording but was indeed a real person asking for donations for breast cancer research. I told her that I found the cure for cancer which is a .45 cal through the cranium.  I was not about to put her and her association through medical school or contribute to her false charity.  I also informed her that my number is on the do not call registry to please give me her name, organization, and address so to be sure to send them their $10,000 fine.

My advice-save this # & label as Scam/Harasser, etc...find or buy cheap whistles. Keep them near your phones. When they call again have whistle ready to blow in their ear. One ear piercing blow will clearly demonstrate what to expect each and every time they call & you answer. Make it uncomfortable to call & harass you. Since they refuse to comprehend the spoken word, your ear piercing communication will wake them up to how you will respond to them. Good Luck everyone.

Got a call from this number. Woman said she is a paid telemarketer for breast cancer awareness and started on her canned speech. I tried to tell her that I don't donate to telephone solicitors but she talked louder and faster over me. I ended up hanging up on her. Strongly seemed like a scam to me.

They call me numerous times a day and i never answer and they never leave a message i do not accept calls from people i do not know i have caller id and the number always says Olympia WA.

Don't know who this is but they call nonstop

Haven't ever once answered the phone when this number calls but they continue to harass me many times per day.  They call right after 8 a.m. and right before 9 p.m. and many times in between.  I have a very young child in the house who takes naps and I am so sick and tired of whoever is behind this number.  This has been going on for weeks.

People who keep calling after telling them to stop are obviously CRIMINALS.  Don't talk to them.

I received a call from this number at 8:36 pm. I agree with the others that it first sounded like a recording but was indeed a real person asking for donations for breast cancer research. I told her that I do all of my donations through a charitable giving donor advised fund, so if she could wait just a bit, I would log in and make a donation with her right on the phone. I asked her if it was a specific chapter or a national foundation. She said it was a national foundation. She asked me for what amount she could put me down for, and I told her to just wait a bit while I log in and decide on the amount. I told her I did not want her to send me anything because I was about to make a donation online. She promptly hung up.

Sounds like another number to put on the ****************************************SCAM************************************* list.

Called at 8:01 pm claiming to be for breast cancer research. Sounded like an automated call but was actually a live person.  We are on FTC no call list.  She said she would put us on 'their' no call list but that it would take 72hrs.  I've heard that 72 hr bs before....from other callers that continued to call and call.There was no name on caller ID, so how do I really know the caller was who she said she was.....but I've heard also the ID can be faked.

They are calling for donations to breastcancer.  I've asked them multiple times to be put on their do not call list, but each time they just hang up on me and then call again a few days later

called  08:30pm. mumbled something then hung up.
