401-111-0401 called; attempted to call them back, but intercept operator says they cannot complete call. Why are they calling me.

Just heard some background noise like a call center, but no one spoke.

I received a call from him at 8:30 pm. He claimed to be from an alarm company. I kept saying hello after every question. He told me to F--- You

Just received a call from this number for the first time.  Caller ID says "Rhode Island", but nothing else.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

are you serious? the same thing happened to me. what did they say? when I anwered they were just makin noises

I got a call from this number  it rang three times and they hung up without saying anything.

someone called from this number.. asked for homeowner.. I asked who was calling.. he rudely interrupted me and hastely asked for the homeowner 3 more times ... I gave him a piece of my mind and told him how rude and unprofessional he was and hung up on him.

Some Indian sounding lady called.  I wanted to ask if she had free slurpee but decided not to and hung up.  Some survey baloney.

said they were tss conducting a survey about my fire alarms.  I said I dont want to participate and he told me to "you dont want to participate?  F#$% You!   ah. .. . im sorry"  and hung up

I've had three calls from this number,that I know of for sure ....I don't answer and they don't leave a message. Arrrgh!

Just got a call from 401-111-0401 and the person said hello I said hello
then he said hello and the phone hung up.  I called the number back three times and a recording is saying the phone line is having trouble. We just had our number changed from verzion to comcast. I hope they did not sell our number to telemaketers.

just got phone call telling me i could get my electric bill lowered. call came from rhode island. i live in ma. don't know how this is possible. caller got angry and swore at me then hung up.

Woman said she was from VMS Alarm Company, I said I already have a system that I am very happy with and she hung up

got a call from this number today 2/24/10 and it gave the number
401-111-0401 and said name unavailable and i never answer any calls like that. looked the number up on the internet and found out is a telemarketer/scammer, so glad i did not answer it. am sure they will try again as they did last time they calling me.

picked up, said hello, no response, lots of background noise. Said hello again and a woman with a very heavy Indian accent said (I think) that I had won something. I told her that the call was being recorded and traced. She hung up on me.

Called twice within 5 minutes caller ID name was my own number with the number 401-111-1401 as the number calling. No response.

The Caller ID said "Name Not Found". The caller said his name was Johnny from VMS Alarms.  He had an accent that sounded like he might be from India. I could hear background noise like he was in a call center.  I told him I was not interested and hung up.

I get calls from this number 2-3 times a day!  What can I do to stop it!  When I answer, no one is there.

Have been getting calls from these ppl all week .first i got one asking me if i was concerned about home security.the woman had a thick east Indian accent, she knew my first name ,kept on reassuring me that she wasn't selling anything.then started talking real fast and i ended answering yes to her question about concerns. she then started talking very fast and then said OK? as though i had agreed to something so i immediately said NO! but she hung up. Since then I've been getting calls everyday from 401 111 0401 and also 401 681 4888 and 401 681 4899. i haven't been answering and they don't leave messages.this all started Feb. 7, 2010

My mother got a phone call today from this very number asking if we had fire extinguishers and smoke alarms which freaked out my mother. The background was extremely noisy like a call center. I was trying to see if I could find anything linked to this number and ended up here.

Got a call from this number twice at 8:10 pm tonight.  First call showed as unavailable on caller ID.  I answered then hung up because of the infamous pause..  then it rang right back this time is showed unavailable with the number 401-111-0401.  I answered again thinking to remind them we are on the do not call list, but after the pause, there was just a lot of noise, like ppl talking. (call center)

Some woman from this number 401-111-0401 called my office this afternoon saying I had just won something associated with the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She knew I was in Vancouver and mentioning the Games might get me interested. Anyhow, I said to her, who spoke in high pitch and with very heavy accent, that I would like to assign my prize to her and she should not decline my kindness. With that I hung up, WTF.

I received a call from these people as well. They called when I was away so they left a "message." This message was really loud and garbled. I wasn't sure what it was. However, after reading the entries here, I'm pretty sure it was a call center.

got a call from 401-111-04010 caller id said R.I. did not answer, Who ever called left message said hello a few times then called me a mother f'er twice then hung up. tried the number back, but got a message not a good #, I wish someone could find out who this company is and let us know so we can go beat the  s*** out of them.

Left message on my answering machine - just some humming then a hang-up.  Wierd, like the person had nothing better to do with their time.

Got a call from this number- have no idea who it is keep calling but is not leaving a message.  I looked it up on white pages and they have no idea of the number....
