They have called me 8 times today starting at 10:40 am then called every hour (even got a call twice in 4 minutes) last call was at 4:15 pm. They have been calling me on average 5 to 8 times a day for the past 3 months or so, have never left a message (i have them on call block now, it rings once to display the number then disconnects).  Yes I to have tried to call the number back but told the number is not available.  Tempted to get an air horn then answer the phone with it.

Numerous cold calls with no messages/identifications and no answers when called.  Called NDNC 1-866-580-2531 but received message "Number cannot be reached from our calling area. 21L".  So, what is this NDNC (National Do Not Call) list for???

My calls from here are identified with the caller id AMEYO. When you google that name you find a very intrusive computer program written in India to make it more efficient for telemarketers, robo callers, collectors and many more groups to contact you. It keeps track of when they call so they know when to call or not call, records the conversation, spoofs id numbers so when you don't answer but post here they know you didn't answer but are still there but worst of all when you don't erase there number they are keeping track of your phone activity. Stories of the NSA  seemed far fetched but this is for private companies to use and gather information on you.
Sounds like I'm one of those paranoid types but I'm not. I just accidentally found this thing and they are actively promoting it around the world. Before you dismiss this post look it up.

This number is calling two or three times a day.  We don't answer because we don't know the number.
We have Shaw Digital phone service and I inquired why calls keep coming through when we have blocked the number through Shaw.  They said many are using the internet to make calls and it may come up as a local number, but there is no way to block these unwanted calls if this is how the companies are calling.
Makes me wonder why they would keep calling incessantly when they are not getting an answer.  A real waste of time, but I guess if they are being paid for time on the phones, it doesn't matter if they are actually speaking with someone.  Rather frustrating, for sure!!

Cold call from Vinyl Windows or something like that. Too much background noise and too thick an accent for me to understand.

Tired of telling these characters that the person they are calling does not have this number anymore and to delete my number but they  don`t care and keep phoning number, but, they don`t care and keep calling. And all this telemarketers probably make little more than the minimum wage, such a demeaning job!

I'm getting called three times a day - for weeks now.
Told Vinyl Windows to stop !!  It continues. Today, March 27, they tried to send FAX.
I wish there was a law against these bloody telemarketers.

Called me at 4:18, Asked for me by name. I asked who is calling. She repeated "is this Mr. *****. I kept asking who is calling. She kept repeating "is this Mr. *****.
After sixth time with no name I told her I am fed up with them calling at least three times a day and she hung up.

Called Telus. Nothing they can do.  It's an auto dialler.  If you phone that
Number back it will keep calling you. All you can
Do is add a blocking feature to your phone. That's what Telus says.
What a pain. They did suggest taking it up with The Better Business Bureau.
Don't know what they can do.

I am receiving calls from this number two and three times away.

Called me 3 times & no message left.

It called. I didn't pick the phone till the answer machine on. It didn't leave a message.

already told them not to call today, they are calling from different numbers. Not sure if this is vinyl window pro or not.

Asked for Mrs. (my boyfriend's last name). Our house actually belongs to his mom so they could have been asking for her. I said it wasn't me and they hung up.

Adding yourself to the DNC list is a great way to get more of these calls...

Argh. Caught me off guard because the number is similar to one I'm waiting for a call from. Fortunately I learned a trick a long time ago: if you answer with something like "Good morning" rather than hello, sometimes the computer won't automatically register it so you'll hear dead air for a second or two which means it's a routed call. And sometimes it also confuses the ESL drop out at the other end of the line, which is what just happened, allowing me to bail out of the call without having to interact with these morons.

calling us for weeks and no one ever speaks. annoying - if my son is home he puts spanish on the tv really loud and holds phone to it but they keep on calling

First time asked for a name I didn't recognize

2nd time asked for the "owner of the house". I didn't catch the name of the company she said she represented.

3rd time - same as the second.

Yep just got a call again!!! My voicemail is FULL of these calls. Most of them it's just silence. And ya know what...!?! I'm not deleting them either. My voicemail is useless. My family and friends can't even leave me a message anymore. I just couldn't bare to hear their crap while I sift through the messages to the important ones. Awesome. A phone I pay for that I ignore and services I don't / can't use because they're full or useless!!!
Hello PHONE COMPANIES!!!! Fix this crap NOW!!! We're done dealin with it. And nobody tell me to go on 'The List' first it doesn't always work. Second it takes '90 days' they say to be cleared off. Third why the heck am I having to ASK to not be harrassed!?!? Unbelievable. This BS needs to stop.

They called, I answered, they asked, haltingly, for Mr. <mumble-di-mumble>. I figured they had a wrong number and told them as much. After I hung up, I realized they had actually asked for me, just butchered my last name badly enough, and in a way I hadn't heard before, that I didn't realize they really did mean me!

Anyways, they didn't actually identify themselves.

They phoned, silence, a couple of seconds and hang up. Why?
