They call I answer they hang up. When I call it back the recording says it is not a working #.

Recieved a call advertising a home-security system at about 12:35PM (ET) today.  Naturally it claims to not be a sales call.  It's about taking part in a "promotional offer".  No brand name or other identifying information provided.

Tried to call it back. Says number can't be completed as dialed. Sick of  these calls using my cell phone minutes.

Tired of these jerx. AT&T won't let you block calls to cell phones either. I reported them but don't expect any luck.

I received the same call as ehighland.  I couldn't unlock the keyboard fast enough to press 1 as I wanted to find out who they are being my # is on the national do-not-call list.  Naturally they spoofed the # to something else that you can't call back.

Got a call from this number but I missed it. How do we stop these calls. I also get calls from 701-614 area codes. I don't answer

I am receiving calls from 406-968-0874 and 206-911-1234, that according to search results, is also related to security system telemarketing.  At this point, I cannot believe that any regulatory agency is trying to do anything to stop this.  Seems we must resign ourselves to harassment.

Continuously calls.  No one there when I answer and no one there when I call back.

I have received these calls too.  Verizon Wireless, under services and then spam conrol, allows you to block, for free, five numbers.  When you block one of these numbers, another will take its place, so I just keep blocking them.  Have had relief so far.  Good luck!

It starts out with "The FBI has reported break-ins in your area...." It's a sales call from an alarm company I think.

Just missed a call from this number. I called back and it said the number I was dialing didn't exist.

First call from them and it came to my cell phone. How on earth did they get that number??? Anyway, Verizon Wireless will allow me to block the number which I will do post haste. I agree with the previous entries here that state that the DNC call is useless.

I'm sick of getting these calls.  We're on a do not call list for our cells as well as our home phone and still the calls keep coming.  I'm beginning to think they get our numbers FROM the DNC list!!!!!!!!!  With all the technology today you'd think someone would come up with a fool proof way of  sticking it to these companies!

just received a call from this number advertising a free home security and medical alert system (or free upgrade to your existing system) but pressed option 2 for not interested if you stay on the call enough to listen, option 1 would get you to speak with a person purportedly, the automated message starts with DO NOT HANG UP and cites an FBI statistic about home break-ins every 15 seconds and states another comment about people who fall in their homes; on the DNC list so not sure how/why company is even allowed to solicit

I want this phone number blocked from my cell phone

Yeah I started to get daily calls from this number, I never answered because I was in school when they would call but they called twice today.  I am on verizon and on myverizon I was able to block this number.  I just did it but I don't see why it would not work.  Check you're provider to see if they allow you to block numbers.

Annoying and to my cell phone too... I am on the do not call list.

They call my Google Voice number which is on the DNC registry. And I live in Europe so it's night time here. They took this number from the electoral register--the only place I ever gave out this number. fortunately I can set up Google Voice to exclude specific numbers. Also to require callers to identify themselves before being put through to my Vonage number. So all I got was a voicemail that I'm not going to bother listening to.

They just called, 1st time.  A recording said immediately, "Don't hang up".  Yeah, right - I hung up on them pronto!  I'm on the DNC list too, but these idiots just keep comin'.  Every day it's some telemarketer calling.....EVERY SINGLE DAY.  The DNC list is bogus.  Doesn't work, and the telemarketers know it and ignore it.  I'm sure, according to all who have written on this page, that I'll be getting more calls from these jerks.  I'll add their 2 numbers to my Comcast block list.

Got 3 calls in 5 min from 406-968-0874 and 801-477-9911 late yesterday afternoon... didn't answer... how annoying.  Glad I looked it up.
