calls everyday- I don't answer

Recieved the phone call in the morning 6/18 and was asked why they called since I filed for financial hardship. They hung up.  They called back later and I told the guy the same story, he said I called him and how can he help me.  I told him to take our name off the list, he laughed and said no.  I next mentioned to him we are on the do not call list, he stated "Lady, that whatz everyone tellin me, I'm not doin it and will call again tomorrow"  I told him that he better watch it or they will have a legal issue then hung up.  I contacted my financial lawyer and she said it sounds fishy and we should report the number to our attorney general.  I urge everyone to do this!

I want them to stop calling me.

I forgot to mention in my first comment that I received an "out of service" recording when I tried to call back the number.

I live in the Pittsburgh area and received a call from 407-682-2241, "BOUTON, CLINTON" on 06/17/09 at 1:41 p.m. The call went to my voice mail. Here's the message, word for word: "[garbled female voice, supposedly cut off at the beginning, then] ...currently with your account, if it's urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as low as 6.9 percent. Your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please press 9 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates. Thank you." These people are barking up the wrong tree and better watch their backs.

this no called me with the same type response and i either get a bsy or no answer as well but when i looked up the no on net detective the same name Bouton Clinton and Pamela Davis both came up Clinton 79yrs old and davis 62 yrs of age i though maybe it was there grand children but the phone equipment used suggest other wise i fear the possibility of two old folk being held captive. why will the authorities at least not checkout the address i did inform them. this guy was to ignorant to be a child he profiled like a straight up hood piece of trash.

Got one a few minutes ago.  I pressed nine and he said he was from Financial Solutions.  I am going to file a complaint with the FTC.

Someone asked if I wanted to lower my interet rates on my credit cards. when I asked a question, he hung up. Is this a scam that can be stopped?

Calling about my credit card wanting to reduce rates...scam...I have no active credit cards, only a bank debit card.

I got a busy signal when I tried to return the call

This number called me offering credit card interest reduction. I pressed 9 to speak with a person, a man answers and asks me if I am interested in lowering my rates. I tell him no, I want to be removed from their calling list, he says "Please", I tell him, no you are annoying me and remove me from you list. He answers"F*ck no! We will be calling you twice a day now!" and hangs up on me. Do bother doing a phone number lookup, it shows a guy in Florida that has an FCC radio license.

this number on my caller ID.  Have tried numerous times to return call.  Either its busy or no answer.  Something smells like fish......be careful.

I answered, and just pressed "1" to connect to a human.  They are definitely some rude a** trash.  I say everyone use google maps and plan a road trip with some pitchforks.

I got the same calls.......I say we all send all the junk mail we can find to the Altamonte Springs address.

Received no answer when I answered. I just reported the number to the Do Not Call registry and it only took a couple minutes to do so. I think if you are registereddd with the Do Not Call, go here and fill out a report.

This is the second time these jokers have called me with in the last week.  I've told them not to call and that they are in violation of both federal and the state of Kansas regulations.  The last time the woman just hung up on me.

This is my second time receiving this call in less than five minutes!!!! As soon as I question the reason for the call, or what card they are 'lowering the interest rates of' they hang up on me. When I try to call back, it's busy. I am taking this one as far as the law will allow - i am also on the Do Not Call list -- but just the fact that they'd rather hang up than answer questions is a tip off that its a scam!

Got the same call as the people above, credit card message.  We are on the Do Not Call list so we filed a complaint.

This lady called to inform me that I could get better rate on my credit card. All I had to do was press 9. I did because I wanted to cancel whatever credit card it is supposed to be. No one came online and I got worried that it was some kind of scam. I have caller I.D. and called the number back but either no one will answer the phone or the line is busy

Received call from this number but left no message on my machine. As with others who get these pain in the a!! calls my number is on the due not call list. Another good reason to have and answering machine so when I'm boating like today it filters out the crap.
