This is Accredo Health/Express Scripts/Medco.  I spoke with them yesterday.  This is a specialty pharmacy that has recently merged with my former specialty pharmacy, Curascript.  They were inadvertently using my cellphone instead of home phone.  When I called Curascript yesterday to schedule a refill shipment, they transferred me to Accredo, who said they had been trying to contact me via cellphone with an automated message to order my refill.  The person I spoke to did say that calls from them would be from a 407 area code and be listed as Ivan Smith.  Their 800 number is: 1-800-803-2523.  If you do receive a specialty drug from Curascript, Medco, Express Scripts, I would give the 800 number a call and see if it is them.  I am thinking something went wrong with their contact numbers in the merge, maybe?

This call is from Accredo/Medco specialty pharmacy.  Most calls from them say "Accredo" on called ID, but for some reason this one says "SMITH IVAN".  I did answer and spoke to the very unprofessional woman on the other end.  She couldn't pronounce first or last name of patient or name of medication.  I was not comfortable verifying birthdate information so I told her I would call back when I was ready to order.  I am going to call Accredo's 800 number to place my order and also complain about the lack of professionalism of the call.

In my opinion, Caremark Specialty Pharmacy has far better customer service.

Call was placed to my cell phone.  Called and then disconnected when I tried to answer.  I tried to return the call and was informed through an automated message that the number was not accepting incoming calls.

It is a prescription company called Acredo.  I said hello about three times before they actually said anything, but I was waiting for them to call and needed them to refill my prescription.  If you are waiting for a such call, just keep saying hello.

I assure you this is not Accredo.  They always leave a message if you don't pick up.  In fact, I was on the phone with Accredo today (the only place I can get my husband's medicine - an orphan drug) and a call came from Ivan Smith.  Accredo is a good company getting a bad rap on this site.

It is Medco, sometimes says Ivan Smith, sometimes a State, sometimes says Medco. It seems to me whenever it says Ivan Smith is when it doesn't connect the call to an agent (when I pickup) or leave a message. I am sure its a glitch somewhere in their contact center software, as this happens to my company's own call center from time to time.

Call came from this number this morning. I didn't answer it, because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I did a reverse phone # look up, and it said it is associated with a high spam level.

I never answer this number.  They never leave a message so I am reporting these calls to the FCC.  It may not do any good, but at the end of the day, it makes me feel better.  If it is Medco, they need to start leaving messages.  If I don't recognize these calls, they do not get answered,.

We have been getting these calls as well, all saying the same thing on caller ID, got no reponse when answered the call. Called the number back and got the message that this number was not in service to recieve incoming calls. very annoying!

Why does Acredo/Medco hide behind the name Ivan Smith?

I have received a couple of calls as well.  I think it may be Medco, but it is a new phone number for them.  They were recently merged with express scripts and that may be the reason for the changes.   I am due for a refill and I have been expecting a call from them.  I was just expecting a 901 area code phone number that I had saved on my phone.

I also get calls from Accredo/ Medco.  When I am not here they have always left a message.  Whoever or whatever Ivan Smith is, it is not part of that company, no matter what other people may have written here.

My husband is on an orphan drug which we get through Accredo.  They call every month to confirm shipment.  However, it always says "Accredo Medco."  Yes, even when it's the computer placing the call and turning it over to a representative.  I've never had the *no answer* or *hang ups* that happen  with the Ivan Smith name.

Got one also in North NJ.  I do have accredo medco but they never hid identity before.

OH boy I don't know what's going on. I put our numbers in the DO NOT CALL LIST and I think that is where these Nuisance calls come from. I get them about 3 -4 times a day. This is an new one I keep adding these darned numbers to my BLACK LIST but I think they get new numbers every so often. This and a 816 number are calling now. I answer and no one is there it is just a dead silence. I don't understand who is giving out these numbers. I never put my numbers in anything but the Dr offices and important things like that.. GEEZZZ Can someone PLEASE STOP THESE CALLS!!!!! Sorry to yell but for gosh sake someone has got to put a stop to this.

It is Acredo/Medco so you probably have a prescription ready to be refilled. The computer calls you automatically then an operator jumps on if you pick up. So the computer does not receive incoming calls. Answer it next time and you will see that they want to remind you of a refill. lol They can make it display what ever name on caller ID they want.

It is your pharmacy company (Acredo/Medco) trying to arrange shipment of your medication. You might want to answer the call. lol I had a prescription ready to refill and they called to see if I was ready for it. That is great customer service.

I have received 4 calls in two weeks, and they just say Orlando, FL.
I mistakenly answered one because I was in the middle of something, and it was just silence.
What the heck?   I am calling ATT about it.

"Ivan Smith" keeps calling...

Keeps calling our number here in MS.  Never have answered the call. Leaves no message.
