I'm having the same problem.  I can only understand a few words.  Something about a complaint against my numer and the government.  I'm supposed to call back to resolve the matter because he doesn't know what will happen otherwise.  I ordered from an online pharmacy and wondered if he got my number that way.  I have no unpaid bills and haven't done anything illegal.  It sounds like some type of scam.  I'm not going to answer future calls and hope to find a way to block this number.

I also just got this call from the same number as everyone else. Indian speaking man, who said his name was Shawn something from a company I couldn't understand. Said there was a lawsuit for Criminal Activity and said something about my social security number. I know that I have paid all pay advance loans or am paying on them and am current. If they have something legal wouldn't you think they would mail it with a signature confirmation? A phone call can't obviously be "legal". And if they have my phone number they should have the address to my home too, right? So send me papers. Try me, I don't owe on anything else!

That is the same thing with me.  The first time I got a call, I was scared.  But I talked to my sister and she told me it was a scam.  When he called back, I told them I talked to a lawyer (my sister who is not a lawyer) and wanted proof. He wouldn't send me anything and when I asked who the company was he talked very fast and hung up. The next day that number called me 18 times in 7 minutes. Now when I get these calls, I don't answer. write down the number and as much information I can find, including the name they give me and send it to my attorney general for the state of Iowa and let him handle it.

I have received several calls from 412 area code.  Now they are telling me they are from American Legal.  Thick Indian accent with an american name.  Not right...

I received a call on 11/29/2010 stating I owe $500 for a payday loan and that they were going to file a civil suit against me. I asked for proof but I could only get the proof if I paid the $500. I have contacte the BBB and AG of PA for help with this issue.

At least some of you could understand them! I get 2 or 3 voicemails a day from this clown and I cannot understand him. Sounds like a Indian or some thing.

i recieved several calls form this # from a foriegn guy saying he is calling from a law office. threating to send papers to my home & job about fraud from a cash advance made online.

Got the same thing. This idiot told me that I was going to jail too.  God I wish someone would put them in jail!!!

I've recieved several calls always different numbers, but same thing. I owe a payday loan company online, never made one. I ask for papers to prove it and the won't send them. They say they are issuing an arrest for fraud. I let them know I contacted the Attorney general, BBB and the sherriffs department but that doesnt seem to affet them besides piss them off more! And then the say things like do you have kids and I guess your kids will go up without a parent. Someone needs to stop them.. Please if anyone can stop this harrassment please help

Someone with a heavy foreign accent saying something about  a store taking legal action.  Very hard to understand due to the accent and a lot of chatter in the background (boiler room?).

Just got a threatening call from this number. But the name and address they left on the voicemail weren't mine, so I'm thankful for that. Heavy accent, said he was from American Legal Services (and Dividends? Evidence?) He said my SS number (or the number of the person he named) was blocked by the federal government and they were going to make an arrest for fraud and criminal activity. I'm supposed to call to take care of the issue because he said, "Don't try to disregard this message," and he doesn't want "A genuine person like you to face legal consequences." The American Legal Services website says it's an offshore scam where they threaten people to send money or they'll be arrested.

yeah they literally just called me 4 times in the span of 3 minutes. I didnt answer, now i look up the number and see its happening to everyone.

OMG............I am so glad I looked into this and found this site. Something didn't seem right and what he said about me was bogus so I knew something was fishy. This phone number called my home today (which is an unlisted number) and left a message to get back to him ASAP. He said his name was Jack Fernandez and he knew my S.S. # and my address. When he said my address, he said this is all under investigation. (Like I'm a FRAUD!!!!!). This guy spoke with an accent that certainly wasn't spanish like you would think Fernandez was. He sounded more like a Mohammed. I called this number back and this guy answers which I knew was the same person that was on my ans. machine and I asked for Jack Fernandez. He said, "can I help you, I'm his supervisor. What is your name?" I told him and he proceded to say that my name, address, and S.S. # is in their law firm and under investigation. He said my address to me again like I was suppose to be scared someone was gonna come and get me. He even gave me a docket number and said that it was out of Pittsburgh, PA. I said "What is this about?"
He said, "If you be quiet.............this is what I'm trying to tell you." Then he said the word "LOAN" and I knew then that this was Bogus. I said "I don't owe any loans, what the hell are you talking about?"
Well.............I think I might have scared him cause he then hung up. LOL (probably didn't know what to come back with.) Now that I know all this and the ppl he has tried to scam, You better believe I'm gonna do what I can to get this guy arrested or stopped somehow. I'm not one to just sit around and do nothing. BEWARE......this idiot needs to be stopped!!!!!!!!!! I might call him back tomarrow just to bust his chops. LOL

I made a case with the FFC on him.  They said there is really nothing that can do, BUT IT IS SCAM!!!!  They are trying to get SS#'s.  They told me the best thing to do is have your # changed or just don't answer.

A few minutes ago I just Checked my messages.   I had a message from a person who said his name is Jack Fernandez.......he said I was under investigation for fraud and that me and my address were being investigated...He knew my phone number and address.  He said my social security number was being blocked. I called the number and got an answering machine.  He said he was a dectective.  He had a very thick accent.  I looked up the number and found out it originates from Pittsburgh..PA.  Then I googled this phone number and found this website.   How they know my address and phone number I don't know...but I sure don't like it.

I just got a phone call from him today as well. I didn't answer at first. But nervous a bit about the message he left..like somebody using my name and my social security number to do criminal activity.
I decided to call and had a chance to talk. It's hard to understand him because of his strong accent.
All I knew was... I have to pay for $400 something, otherwise I have to provide attorney. I refused to pay and he said he's gonna send some document. I am sure this is a phony. Shall we do anything to stop this guy?

Us too.  The jerk had the nerve to order us to get a piece of paper and write down some information regarding a law suit. We were out shopping at the time and it sort of ruined the day.  Hopefully someone will ruin this jerks day really soon.

Whomever this is called my work! He left me a message so I called and as others have said a message said call back  later. I was nervous and scarred until I checked this site. I guess it is a total scam.

I received call from Jerrard something from Rowan Investigation (broken english-hard to understand) today telling me there has been lawsuit filed against my ss and address for online criminal activities......I tried to call and find out what he was talking about and got a recorded message to try again later. Thinking it was a scam I to put phone number in and found this site. I found it very interesting that he stated "before calling your local court house call me" and he would help straighten this out. I am curious as to how he got our phone numbers - process of elimination is they got the information from the internet as they called Cell number and not home number. Annoyed with scams as they hurt and take advantage of people who take this calls as facts. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and thats for posting and confirming my suspisions.

My mother whom lives alone received a phone call from this number and it was regarding a supposed fraud charge(s) against my brother. The idiots think they are smart. Thank God for the internet and search engines where people post things like this and then respond. Arabian speakers and foreigners need english classes  that way we would not be confused with those who work for the IRS or other American agencies.

Same guy called my number today.  I googled the number to find out who it is and I found MANY complaints for bogus calls from this number.  When I called just to see what the moron had to say the guy changed his story a few times, totally full of CRAP!  First he's a detective, then he's with debt collection, then it was about a fraud then he said a credit card.  What an idiot!   I might just call back a few times just to annoy the piss out of them, maybe a little fake crying cause you know I'm REALLY worried about being sued, arrested and taken for every dime I have......................NOT!
