It is actually a CIA call and when you pick up they say different things (sometimes nothing) to trigger you to go into a hipnotic state and carry out a preprogrammed set of commands that have been buried in you mind.

That way you don't remember anything when your caught and sent to prison.

They ask you if you want a subscription to a business magazine.

Man asked to speak to me by name; when I said "speaking" he hung up.

They called looking for the CFO of my company.  Probably a telemarketer, because they hung up when I put them on hold.

I get this call every day at 1:45PM

Same nonsense I have received several calls from this number, there is never anyone on the line and they do not leave a message if the call goes unanswered. I have attempted to call the number back so I could request to be added to their Do Not Call List and I get a message stating all circuits are busy now, please try your call again later. I am not sure what company this is but I do know they are in violation of FCC regulations due to the not having a valid call back number and not responding when someone answers the phone and giving the company information as well as a reason for the call. I will be submitting a formal complaint to the FCC and recommend anyone else that receives a call from this number do the same

Caller asked for me by name, wanted to know if it would be ok to "start my subscription to 'Light Weight' (sic)".  I said no, it would not be ok and hung up.

Some guy named Thomas Mitchell said it was regarding a free "something" Gave me this number to call back 877-824-9379. Hung up on me previously.

I have recieved several calls at work from this number, but they never leave a message.

Just received call from them.  Im on the do not call list and they called me on my att wireless phone.

I did not recognize the number on my CallerID so I let the call go to voice mail. No message. This happened two more times so far today. This appears to be an unsolicited sales call of some kind.

The caller called.  I caught the call on the 3rd , 4th or 5th ring, and said :"hello" muitple times, and tehca ller hung up!  My home phone number is listed on the Do Not Call List.

Almost every day, this number calles me, but there is never any one there when I answer. I wonder what kind of scam is afoot? I wonder if there is some sort of hacking going on?

I answered because I enjoy soup.  I was waiting about 4 seconds until Obama came on and pretended to ask for me.  I was so shocked, I ate more soup with my giraffe warrior princess.

Same, called our main office number just now, hung up when I answered.  I tried calling back three times to the tune of "all circuits are busy now" though I was able to call other numbers.
