Called on morning of Wednesday, October 21, 2008.
My wife answered the phone, but caller asked for me personally.
My first name is not published in phone book... only first and middle initials, along with surname.
He left his number for me to call him back!

Triple calls from this number Nov 14th. Didn't answer as it was not a number I recognized.

Called me tonite and last nite after 7pm, no response when I answer.

This was TV Ontario asking for money.  The guy just kept talking, refusing to listen to me, so I hung up, went to their website, and sent an email to 'askTVO@tvo.org' with my name, phone number and "Please place me on your Internal Do Not Call List".  Within minutes I had an email back saying that I had been added.

They call almost every day.  No message left.  We have a lot more telemarketer calls since putting our number on the Do Not Call list.

Have received calls for the last 2 days from this number.  The first call asked for me by name...I wasn't home and they hung up. Called again today, no one home, no message left.  The do not call list has helped us but this caller is annoying...can't find a business with this number but a residential number in T.O.

Called today 3:15 pm, no message left; I assume TVO because of above notes.  Am sorry for that because I think they are worthwhile, don't need the bad press.  Will take Rob's advice above if the calls are repeated.

constantly calls my house. no message on machine. calls at odd hours too... late at night. more calls from this number than any other marketing number...!

Got called on Sat Aug 29/09 @3:58pm - no message, again Sun Aug 30/09 @2:47pm - no message, and yet again on Mon Aug 31/09 @12:40pm this time I answered but no one there. The caller hung up. If it is TVO, they are not bound by the Do Not Call List because they are a charity. However, when I have spoken to them I informed them that I did not wish to donate. It seems that they can not take "NO" for an answer. If they continue to call, I also will try the suggestion from Rob about the internet approach.

Calls three or four times a day. hangs up when u answer the phone and never leaves a message

This number called a few minutes ago. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I think this is a 3rd party calling on behalf of TVO for donations. Whoever they are, the constant calls are annoying and I don't give to charities who bombard me with phone calls. I told them about a month or so ago when they last called to take my number off their call list. Obviously they didn't.

I've gotten five calls in the past seven days - I assume that they stop on weekends. I only answered once, and there was silence on the other end.

Several calls in last few days (last week in May).No message left.

If it is TVO, then their fundraising call lists suck.  Calling my mobile line in Trinidad & Tobago (+1-868-xxx-xxxx) will likely not net a donation. ;-)

Got a phone call from this number. I don't know what it is. Seems to be an automatic message set up.

I've had this number turn up on my call display about 4 times in the last 3 days.  No message left.  Have not answered it.

So I decided to pick up this time and they ask for me by name (funny cause my home line is under my wife's name not mine). I acted like I didn't know what they were talking about and they hung up.
