some rude person said he was "Robert Lowery" called our company asking to speak with our owner. Hung up and did not leave a message. Yeah.. seems like the same issue. Thank you everyone for all your posts.

This "Robert Lowery" person called our company asking to speak with our owner. States he's the owner of WL Construction...We didn't get a chance to find out what he wanted because when sent to our owners assistant he was extremely rude and hung up on us.

Got the same call said his name was Robert Lowery owner of W.L. Construction wanted me to call him back. Left number as 424-644-6625. Tired of these scams get them all the time have told them not to call me and they still call back.

caller says he is robert lowry- owner of WL construction & needs to speak with someone.  when i asked what it was in regard to, he said he had another call & had to put me on hold. waited for about 30 seconds - found these postings in the meantime & hung up.

I just got the same call. He provided his name and phone number: Dave Lawry, WL Construction and a phone number of 424 644-6621. When I asked him what the call was regarding he said "business" and asked if I could hold for a moment because another call was coming in. Glad I Googled him. I won't bother passing his message along to my boss.

Got the same Robert Lowery call.  Unlike most telemarketers that won't give you their name or number, he was quick to give it and then he said he had another call coming in, put me on hold and then I was disconnected.  Came here to see the same has happened to everyone else.  I will be sure not to entertain the diamond blade sale!

Keep getting calls called back and was told it was a wrong number you can hear people in the background glad to see other people got it also scam !!

Number 6625 He's still calling. As soon as I told him I would have to check with the chief, he blew me off. Then tried to get the chiefs name, but I google the number as I was talking to him and found this web site

I fell for the story from him at 424-644-6621.  We sent the saw blade back.  Even paid the shipping.  He told me if we did not like it to send it back.  It was supposed to be a 30 day free trial but it came with an invoice.  Sorry do not tell me it is a free trial and then include an invoice.  Boxed it right up.  He continues to call but I blocked his number.  

Same modus operandi as every listed prior to me. Callback number provided was 424-644-6644, asking to speak to our Public Safety Chief. I badgered him with questions, "Do you currently have a project with us?" "Will he know why you called?" "What are you calling about?" "What type of business is this?" until he apparently gave up and hung up.

Yep, he's still at it.  Robery Lowery (he spelled it) has called multiple times asking for the Fire Chief by first name.  This time he left the number 424-644-6625.  When I ask if they are doing any 'construction' in our community, each time he states he has an incoming call and asks to put me on hold.  Don't waste your time with this guy.

Robert Lowery.. Called from 424-644-6620. I did call back he picked up, said he needs to talk with the volunteer Fire Chief.. I told him I was not him, he hung up.. As of today 424-644-6620 is a real number for this guy.

Just received a call from "Robert Lowry, owner of WL Construction" asked me who was our Fire Chief and then wanted hi to call hi. When I asked what it would be regarding he said, "a business call and once he hears my name he will know exactly what it is about." number he left was 424-644-6625

Very fishy how can our Fire Chief know what it is about when this Robert Lowry didn't even know his name?

Same call here from Robert Lowery, 424-644-6621. If you are a government entity like I am tell him you have to order the blades net 30 and then have them ship a ton of blades to a phony address.

Just got his call today, told Robert Lowry I needed the Board and Membership approval to purchase items. Will avoid him if he calls back. Thanks for the info.

A man that states his name is Robert Lowry with WL Construction Co. calls our office all the time. He ask to speak to the cheif and when he is told he isnt available and I'm his assistant he gets an attitude and will not tell me what he is calling for. He just states his name, the company and the phone number. Glad I googled this information!

Just got a call from this same number, guy identified himself as Robert Lowrey w/ WL Construction.
Used the phone number 424-644-6621, left a message on the answering machine.  Glad to know he has been identified as a scammer and phisher of men.

Revived a message on my cell phone from a Robert lowery owner of WL construction at 424-644-6630 and just to call him glad I looked this up and seen all the post about the scam!

We did receive the saw blade to try out.   I made sure that he understood that we were going to try it out, if we didn't like it we were going to return it.  We didn't like it and did return it only to have him leave me a nasty message that I used him and that it was wrong that I used the blade and sent it back..... The guy is a real tool...  Don't waste my time like this....

Got a call this afternoon to our general mailbox, when the on-duty Battalion Chief called back, he stated he only wanted to talk to the fire chief. His name was Robert Lowrey of WL Construction; 424-644-6621. Appreciate all of this info as i will not call back now.

Looks like these callers pick on different groups of people over the years and now they are working on fire departments.  Telemarketers are a bunch of A$$holes.  Like I'm going to make a long distance call to them??????????  

Calls and asks for me by my first name like he knows me.  Very shady, yet transparent telemarketing tactics.  His mom must be very proud.

My secretary received a phone call from a gentleman stating his name was Robert Lowery, the owner of WL Construction, and asked that call him back when I get a chance.  FYI. I am with a municipal fire department.  Of course, I checked the number first which is why I am posting now.  The return number was close to the others...424-644-6625.

Just recieved a message in my office from a Robert Lowry, owner of WL Construction, saying the message was for the Fire Chief and left a return number of 424-644-6623.  It sounded like a recording to me so I decided to google it before wasting the boss's time. Thanks for the info!
