We have received 2 calls from this number.  We are on the National and State No Call lists, but it doesn't seem to be effective.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Go to wavsource.com (link below) and  on the "Disconnect 2" wav, right click and save target onto your computer desktop. When the telemarketer calls, open the audio file and click play repediately into the phone reciever. It plays the 3 tones Beep-Beep-Beep. Eventually they will remove your # from their call list because the robo caller hears it is a disconnected #. My calls have been reduced since I have begun doing this.

I have found a way to slow down (almost stop) some of their shenanigans. When you answer the phone say       "This call may be recorded for quality assurance purposes. My name is (insert whatever name suits your fancy). How may I help you?" You may have to say it twice. A legitimate company won't mind being recorded, the others will hang up REALLY fast!

Calling repeatedly, first my landline then my cell, then my landline, then my cell...over and over ten times, so far. Very annoying.

I placed them on my reject list back on Nov.2012, have recieved a total of 10 calls to date, 5 just today on Jan.31,2013. getting tired of this

Repeatedly calls 4 or 5 times and even sometimes at 9 or 10 at night.

ID shows TWOSTEPTAX so didn't answer.
The jerks let it ring for at least five minutes.

WANT THIS NUMBER TO STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL TELL THEM I WANT TO BE ON THERE NO CALL LIST AND THEY JUST CALL FROM ANOTHER NUMBER. DON'T KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER I HAVE HAD INSURANCE FOR 5 YEARS SO I DON'T NEED THERE'S. THEY ALSO CALL FROM 503-468-5526 IF THEY KEEP CALLING I'M GOING TO LOOK INTO SOME TYPE OF LEGAL ACTION!!!

I have received calls from this number for dental company nearly daily. I have repeatedly requested they remove my number from their list.

I recently signed up for Ideeli and this is when I started getting crazy calls. I may have to change my # and delete my email account. Unbelievable!!!

These idiots just called my number back to back six times and tried to leave a message put it wasc so scrambled until you could not understand one word. So D-m annoying.

P.S. get a police whistle .. or something really loud and blow it in the mouth piece.

I take care of elderly folks they been getting them for months up to 6 times a day and not just from Hpt Hpt. Now that they are slowing down with her number I am getting them at my house.. And its not just Hpt Hpt.. its others too.. Clark Howard said to just let your machine get them.. and I do and they just hang up. You can report them to a site but not sure which site. does anyone know what site I can report them too.

Received a call from this number.  According to whitepages.com reverse look-up, it's a telemarketer.

I have been bombarded by tele mkt calls who don't leave msgs.  So switched to alt greeting (but did not leave one) VOILA they left message.  Can't win, screen all calls.

Great Point!  If they are not reported, they can flaunt the law as much as they like.

Calls repeatedly and leaves a message about arranging for "final expenses" to spare "your loved ones." Called ID says HPT Home Alarms.

OMG!!!!  frickin telemarketers keep calling. i dont know how they got my #, they suck . . . . stop  calling me!!!

Your message was very helpful.  I just programmed that number into my call reject list on my cell phone.
I would like to see a class action suite against companies that cost you money by calling repeatedly when you have to pay for those minutes; I would like to be paid back for the minutes they have taken away from my cell phone usage.

I'm also registered on the Do Not Call list and have gotten a call from this number two different times, but they never leave a message...it's just dead air with come "clicking" sounds in the background for about 5 or 6 seconds before it disconnects.
I just tried calling the number back, but I get a recorded message:... " We're sorry, your call did not go through. Will you please try your call again".

It's ok Rick, the rest of us will gladly man up and report scam or spam calls to the Don Not Call registry, even if it is a Gov run site. You can just put your tin foil hat back on and go back into the closet and relax.

These are the psychos from - or routed through - our west coast, especially the state of Washington.  They had quieted around the holidays...perhaps they were busy stealing FedEx and UPS packages off the steps of vacant homes or unsuspecting working people.  Always Phishing/ID theft scams...don't answer, please.  

And, be mindful about similar calls, again from the West coast or routed through*, and DON'T ANSWER and DON'T CALL BACK UNLESS YOU'RE BLOCKING YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER.      

*Ditto New York and New Jersey phone numbers.

Appreciate your information. However, I won't be calling the gov't ... for anything. This is a great idea for a site."We the People" need to start getting together like this.

They just called me 30 minutes ago. I didn't recognize the number and knew it had to be a telemarketer or scam call. When they started leaving the message on the answering machine and I heard the recorded message state something about dental insurance. I cut it off by hitting my stop button on the machine which disconnected the call. Then I programmed the 425 area code into my digitone call blocker which will pretty much keep them from calling me again.
