"Joel Brandes" just called again.  This time I did the quick click-click (answer-hang up) thing.  Apparently he didn't get the message last night when I said I couldn't help out his "Fraternal Order of Police."

Shows up as "Joel Brandes" on the caller ID.  Caller identifies himself as "Jake Christensen" of the Fraternal Order of Police.  Asked for my husband by his first name.  I asked if I could take a message so he then asked if I was Mrs. ______.  I said yes, and then cut him off by saying I could help his cause and hung up.  I don't know if this organization is legitimate or not, but I never do business over the phone unless I initiate the call. I wish businesses would learn that those who cold call my house are the LAST people I would ever donate to or do business with!
