Some people use these numbers to mask or ghost calls. They look them up on the internet to find frequently misused numbers. Masked numbers are not traceable and also do not show up on your cell phone record. Finding the person who called you from theses numbers is difficult. File an FCC report just in case.

A man calles with a survey. This man argued when I told him him not to call and that I'm on the do not cal registry. In addition, he called my cell phone. I told him I'd report him to the FCC. He continued to be rude and disrespectful. I hung up.

Doesn't matter who calls. You can pretty much look up anyone and threaten them and hopefully get them to pay you. Bill collectors are the biggest p**sies. I just received a call from this number asking to conduct a "political survey." I said I was busy....................HOW DARE THEY CALL ON FATHER'S DAY! For that reason alone I do not trust them. No one calls for a survey on a Sunday and a holiday. I'm adding their number to my blocked list.

I just received a call from phone number 443-743-2176 a few minutes ago. Whoever was on the other end did not say anything, but heard people talking in the background and it displayed on my caller ID as a Unknown Name. How can this be investigated to make sure this call was not a mistake or someone trying to take a survey, telelmarketer or get information?

I received a call from this number for a political survey from a company in Salt Lake City Utah. The caller seemed nervous and hesitant to answer where she was from and didn't know what to say when I said I wished to no longer participate.
