I have got the same exact letter today... it didnt say anything about me depositing it into my bank account though. I'm going to cll this number back and see what is REALLY going on... it seems too good to be true, probably a scam.

I receive a letter and check for $3,950.00 and to call 450-512-2401 for instructions that due a previous survey by a Cunsumer Survey Specialist, That I was interested in aan additional income on part time basis. And that Iwastherby selected to participate in a paid Comsumern Research Program  as a Secret Shopper. And gave instructions to deposit the check and call back when it clear for further instructions and FAX a copy the the letter to 1-888-263-7868 for cornfirmation and to release the hold on the check.
