Just received a call from my "supposedly" credit card company and they wanted to lower my interest.  Did not even have the correct balance and asked me to give my account number on line. They indicated that they had my first 4 digits but everyone knows that the first four digits identifies what type of card you have.  Unsuspecting folks may not realize this and may give out their full number instead.  Please do not fall for this scam. They started harrassing me when I did not want to disclose my full account number. I hung up on them and they kept calling me back. I told them that I would prefer calling my credit card company directly (which I did and it was confirmed that this is a scam)  I am having a new card sent out and changing account number just in case my security was breached.  When I tried calling them back, all I got was either a busy signal or it would automatically go to a message indicating if I would like to be removed from the telemarketing list.  Such Scam Artists!!  Beware.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I received a call as well. Didnt answer. Whoever it is is not to be trusted. If they are claiming an attempt to lower cc rates they are lying. I say this because I do not nor have I ever owned a cc and yet they called me...shady! I live in portland, or, btw.

I seem to have the same issue as soon as I ask to be removed from their calling list the person on the other end quickly hangs up.

a call from 458-201-0362 called my cell phone twice today. The second call was about an hour after the 1st call. I picked up because I happened to be near my phone and heard a recording of a female voice saying that they were calling from "Card Services" and that they could lower my credit card interest rate. I let the message play through then hung up. We have been having these phone calls for years on our land line I am not looking forward to being harrassed on my cell phone either.

Received the call on my cell.  I answered and the recorded voice said it was "Card Services" calling to lower the interest rate on my CC.  I pressed "1" to speak to operator.  A male with an foreign accent started talking about lowering my CC rate. I interrupted him asking what bank he was representing, he rattled off several starting with B of A where again I interrupted stating "I am on the do not call list" at which time call was abruptly terminated..
None of the banks he rattled off were mine..

Just got this call too. I'm not in OR either. Didn't answer and they left no message. I am so tired of these creeps doing this. How do they get your number????? I'm on the Do Not Call list too. So much for that theory....

01-18-2013 @ 12:58 PM - 458-201-0362 called from Eugene, Oregon.  Call came in on wife's cell phone #, so she answered it.  It was a scammer calling about lowering interest rates on credit cards.  Wife just hung up on "her".  Said it was a robo-call, which means you can't talk to them anyhow.  Just press numbers.  Both our cell phones, plus our landline, is on the DO NOT CALL listings, but of course, these jerks never pay attention to it.  Wife said woman had heavy accent.  Internet search on area code 458 shows this number located in Eugene Oregon, but didn't show name of company.  I'd still like to stick a double barrel shotgun up their butts and pull both triggers at the same time.  Ignorant a**holes!

got this call on my cell. did not get to the call quick enough. Called the number and an automated response system asked that If I want to be removed from the calling list to verify the number which called me and enter the number to remove from the list.  I went along with it and the response was that it would take up to 72 hrs to be removed from the list.  We'll see what happens.  This was the first time this number has ever called so Hope this won't generate a rash of other marketing calls.

What is the number to call to be placed on the DO NOT call list for cell phones.  Is it truly a $10,000 fine for calling a number on the do not call list?

Received a call on my cell phone which is on ALL do not call lists. Call came in at 8:45 AM on 1-18-13  under NO Name. Hung up when it appeared as no name.

Got a call from this number. They left no message. I have a contact on my phone named DNA (for do not answer). Anytime I get a call from a number that I don't know and they don't leave a message I just add them to the DNA contact. Then I know if a next call comes from them not to answer (I have a special ring tone for this contact). If it truly is someone that needs to contact me then they will leave a message for me to call them back.

Just got a call from this #. Caller ID shows Eugene OR. Recording saying a problem with my credit card (did not give a name of any card co.). Last notice to lower interest rates.

I live in the DC area, and they called my cell phone, no message, I use a service called You Mail and it comes up SVC Customer.

I didn't answer.  Called the # back.  Got recording that I could opt-out by confirming my number.  Huh!  Not happening.

Two calls, 20 minutes apart, on my cell phone.  I was driving and did not answer.  The caller left no message.  If it is a solicitor calling to "lower my interest rates on my credit cards" as others have reported they are going to be sorely disappointed.  I do not have any credit cards and have no interest in them.  I will stay on the line long enough to find out who they are so I can report the DNC violation as my number is on the list and I obviously do not have any prior relationship with them.
