I got a request from an account with this phone number and the name Sheryl Robertson. I added it because we had mutual friends. The next thing you know, I'm getting tagged in dirty pictures that showed up on my timeline. The caption on the picture said some moronic crap about how her girls ditched her for the weekend and to text the number for pictures. Not sure what this is or what they're trying to pull, but I recommend reporting and blocking immediately.

She done the same thing to my husband any my niece called and tried to text no answer.Is her name Sarah Lodo. Did this come about from someone getting on a dating site or how did it happen.

Same thing in New Hampshire...scans the area for local bar and uses it as a reference. Gives name as Branduff Hawtry on Facebook.

Now going by the name Evangeline Kauffman on Facebook.

My youmg daughter also recieved the same messages that you guys are describing last night with this number to text them at. Total scam and now they say they are Effee and some of her friend have them on the facebook.

I received a message (like all of you) on Facebook, from a girl name Meriel Benfatto. She continuously messages me asking to come to my apartment and robotically repeats pretty much the same thing no matter how in reply.

I read somewhere that the motive behind this scam is to gain access to your personal information and friend list, so they can do the same to them. Because they have been added to your friend list, that makes them appear trustworthy to your friends, making them more likely to sign them up, then they are able to hack into their accounts. Next thing you know, you're subscribed to a premium-rate third-party provider running your bill sky high or dealing with identity theft issues.

To be on the safe side, check your accounts for unauthorized transactions and block this person from your cellphone and Facebook account.

Yes, I got a recent friend request from a woman calling herself Brooke Banon who just moved to the area wanting to meet up for a drink.  Her stated age is 20 years younger than me, I don't date women that much younger than me and raised my early alert system.  Her profile was of a half dressed woman.  She was following several people who play a game I play, men and women both.  I was her only Facebook friend about a page started late last month.....

They've changed the name to Beverly grinstead.  They've been tagging my friends in pics on fb.

Same thing here, with the same copy and pasted messages!! Im curious the reason/ scam behind this. You cant call the number.. So how could they scam you? Does any one have the faintest idea of the purpose behind this weirdness?

My boyfriend got a random friend request from some "girl" named Maglorix Mullin on facebook (Eh horrid name haha). Same thing as you guys, she was messaging him literally ALL DAY about being new in the area and being lonely, wanting to meet up, wanting to get drinks, wanting to hook up. And wouldn't stop."She" was tagging him in pictures of big boobed half naked females once a day. Basically skankin it up. Must be some kind of scam. When we tried to call the number its a busy signal every time. I'm just thinking about the angle here.. The number doesn't work.. Whats the point of this? How could they scam with no legit number? Weird.
Guess some weirdos have too much time on their hands. Haha :P

Facebook post from Hinako Beever with this phone number.  She tagged me in some very inappropriate photos and now I am reporting her to face book and trying to block her.  This number was listed on her facebook page.

I got the exact same thing Joshua. Except it was a friends request from a woman named yesenia burgill. She also wanted to get together for drinks cause she was new to the area. Also mentioned a video chat aswell very strange, some kinda scam of some sort.

When you text the numbers it replies saying they are over their text limit or phone is messing up, wants you to go to their other profile to chat with a link to a dating site profile that redirects to a signup page of a dating site on a different domain..   its all done by bots/scripts

I have been getting messages from a yahev bedbury and this number. Looked up number and it said Texas. I also reported her to Facebook and blocked her but still getting messages.

I got something similar this morning on Facebook . my buddy said he was hit with it too and they shaved him and stole his personal info.

Same thing here only Cain Celler here in Daytona - We reported her on facebook for harassment.  Hope she gets banned.

Check this person out. She friended me on FB and she tagged me in a pic of her half naked. DO NOT LIKE! She has several pictures going down her timeline with random numbers going down the page and all of those numbers I have looked up and they all have complaints about messages and texts.

Her name is Raamiah Cotsford on my facebook. These are some of the messages she tags me in. She only has 3 friends on her list including me. What is this person trying to do?! Beats the hell outta me. All these different numbers, I don't get it.

Received friend request from this young woman in barly any clothes.  It's a scam.

Friend of mine got same thing in Tennessee. Just names of bars and cities were changed. (And he's on Facebook as in a relationship with someone 8 months pregnant.) The girl was very persistent in messaging.

I been getting the same thy even tag me in I photo of theres it's maing trouble between me and my soon to be wife I have block thim and thy still in up on my friends list  and I thank thy are hacking ppl facebook to so ewash out for tho who use facebook

He/she will always say they are logging off for now but want me to text  469 444 2839 her new number. Everyday its a new number! He or she is sending so many messages to so many facebook users that he/she dont remember sending me the messages because one day she says she/he is from texas next time she/he is new here from californis! lmfao how stupid can you get! I hope you get caught doing your scams! Try getting a real job i hear you can actually hjave a good life by being honest!
