Got a call from out of area that I answered. Caller says they are from our LOCAL Fox news channel in Cleveland. They are featuring local life coaching businesses on their website and want to include my services. I ask what I need to do to be involved in this. Caller says I will be featured on the local channel, but gives me a bogus website address to look at that is NOT our local Fox news channel website. He then tells me by being on my local channel's website, my life coaching company's website will be listed on the front page of google. He then asks me where I live in Ohio. He has no clue how to pronounce my local city, which is right next door to Cleveland where the local Fox channel broadcasts. I ask him what's the catch - google isn't part of Fox 8 news. He tells me it will cost me $125 a month to be on the local Fox news website. I tell him he's a fibber and hang up. I've gotten a lot of these calls from the same company within the last few weeks. They also fraudulently represent another local company.
