This is continuous, for the last 2 years.  Already 7 calls this year.  A different number each time they call.  The message says "press 2 to opt out" but they continue to call anyway.   If you press 1 "to talk to an operator" they're rude and if you ask them to stop calling they simply hang up.   I've reported these calls for 2 years to the DO NOT CALL registery, and have been reporting them to the FCC, to no avail.

Report phone calls from 503-457-1819 to your State's AG Office...

In our state, the AG's office has an 800 number and a website to report these criminals.  They actually investigate and pursue them for civil penalties associated with DNC violations.  It might take a month or two, but I always get a response that informs me who the caller was and the action the AG has taken.

This number just called with "Operator" showing on our caller ID.  I did not answer.  We are also on no-call list.

The numbers are spoofed & they don't care if you're on the DNC or not.  Get an air horn or don't bother answering.

This number calls 4-6 times a week.  We are on the Do Not Call list- what good does that do???????

Got a call from this number while I was not at home.  Left no message.  My caller ID had "caller" on it.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

keep bothering me about credit card loan.  I do not need.  Why do they bother an elderly woman?  How can I opt out?   I pay my entire  balance each month.

They did not leave a message, so I called beck and got a recorded message saying to press 1 if I wanted to be removed from their calling list. I never did find out what the call was about.

This number has called my home numerous times, in spite on the do not call list. I have just filed a complaint with the FCC

Caller ID shows the name "Caller".    If you have Caller ID, don't answer calls from "Toll Free Number",  Unknown Name - Unknown Number" or any unfamiliar area codes.  If you are on-line when you get such a call, you can search the area code location.  If the call is for real, they should leave a message.  

Complaining to the state attorney general's office may get faster action than going to the Do Not Call Registry.  If you don't have caller ID, when you answer and you hear static or you can't hear anything on the other end, hang up quickly.

This is a scam. "Amy" from "Card Services" hung up when we asked for her company name.

Got  a call from this number..it said "Out of Area."  I went to answer it but I got a dial tone. These calls are such a pain in the neck! I get them all the time..and I am also on the "Do not call List!" Obviously, they don't care!

This is a most annoying thinly-disguised telemarketing call.  We have received dozens of the same calls - from slightly different phone numbers in Oregon.  "This is an important message from your credit card company."

Got a call from this number today. Did not pick up and they left no message. Scammer & Fraud calls have been prevalent and this would be another one I'm sure.

As with others, this number belongs to scammers claiming to be from "card member services".  I am in the process of reporting them...

I am disappointed that they didn't talk dirty to me... I feel unloved!

My elderly mother has been getting calls from this number for the last few weeks.  They say they are with card member services and can lower your interest rate.  They are not a legitimate company and have nothing to do with any of your credit cards.  Besides reporting to the FCC, there are few other things you can do.  First of all, do not press 1.  All that does is let them know that you have an active number and they will just call more often.  My mother's phone is with Verizon and I have put this number on her blocked list.  You can do this online.  Check with your carrier to see if you can block the number.  I have also found in the past that blowing a very loud whistle into the phone works pretty well to get rid of these nitwits.  It's also very satisfying :-)

My husband recieved a call from this number yesterday afternoon.  Young man said "Grandpa?.."  proceeded to tell him that he was stuck in Peru & needed 4000.00  to get home.  my husband hung up on him ..but I worry about some older folk that may be taken in by this ploy.  Be Careful!

nobody there when I picked up but from the sound of it I don't want to call back. Also we are on the no call list. Do these posts get reported or where do we go to report these people?

I keep getting calls from these people.  They say they can lower your credit card interest.  I have no intention of doing this so have repeatedly gone in and pushed 1 to supposedly get off their list.  They just call more often.  I got a call this morning so answered it.  The man identified himself as Joseph.  When I asked the name of his company he hung up on me.  It used to be that when I called back I got a message with the information as to how to get off their list--push 1--which I have done about a dozen times.  Now when I call the number back it tells me it is not a valid number.  What do I do to make them just STOP.  I want to report them since they are violating the law, but cannot until I know who they are.  The caller ID just said Operator.

I've been getting these calls for about 2 weeks, usually on the ans machine from "card holder services". I got one saying it was the final call but then got another one tonight. I pressed 1 and waited for the operator. When he answered saying "This is Matt, how can I help you?" I said 'if i give you my number, can you remove me from your list?" His reply was "Absolutely! NOT!" and hung up. The call was about 645pm. I remember going through this with them before.

Nobody said anything when I answered either.

I got a call from this "oregon cell" number and reported it to FCC.  The recorded message said we had to have "at least $3000 in credit card debt."  They called themselves "card member services" and when I asked, "are you aware that I'm on the do not call list?"  I got a recorded "okay...alright"  over and over again.  I'm guessing they're looking to get us to give them our credit card information.

I took the number and  inserted into an email the the Connecticut Attorney Generals office.

recieved calls from this number and others with all the same operator message about lowering credit ratings.. after getting tired of these calls I pressed 1 to speak to someone and asked to be put on the do not call list.. the man who answered started talking very dirty about his body parts and very sexual gestures, then told me it was my dead grandfather speaking.. I hung up.. anyone else getting these calls and how can we find out what this is

Receive a call at least once a week from this number. This last time I pushed 1 to talk with someone. When the person answered I asked to be put on their do not call list. We are already on the governments do not call list.  The person I talked to about adding our number to the do not call list said very graphic and ignorant things to me about his body parts.......I am trying to find out the name of the place so I can file a complaint with the governments' do not call list...Does anyone know the name or can I still file without a name and  just a phone number?
