claimed it was Shell Oil calling wanted owner etc verified, stated reading back messages from here lol she gave up and said good bye

It was a call from FedEx with a tracking update.  

A woman with an accent claimed to be calling from Harte-Hanks.  She wanted to verify the company's address and information regarding several employees.  I said any data of that nature must be requested in writing and gave her the mailing address.  Suddenly in a rush, she took it down and hung up.

Called asking to speak with (Dave) the old GM at my business that hasn't been here for almost  year. Wanted to speak with him about our computer systems. Said she worked for "Hartkens" (where she decided to pick that name is beyond me). I just told her that I was sorry but I could not forward her call on to anyone because she was trying to scam our company for money and that Dave was no longer an employee with us which lead me to believe she was nothing but a theif! Hung up on her.. No call back yet.. we will see I guess!

Received a call from this number on my work phone at 11:20am, and they left a message marked "high priority", "Txxxx <he used my name which is on my voice message>, this is Mr (I couldn't make out his name), you were supposed to call be back at 11 today to discuss a policy.  Call me back today at xxxxxxx " but the number was not this same number 512 #.  I work for an insurance company but I do NOT work with policies, so I thought maybe his call was misdirected.  So I called 512 number and got the recorded "Thank you for calling The Call Center...." message, so then I called the number he left...
"Hello?" "Hi, you left a message on my voice mail earlier?"
"Uh, maybe we had the wrong number?"  "Who is this?"
"Bye?"  *click* He hung up.

They call a lot trying to reach our IT Manager.  Today they were more persistent.  A lady with an Indian accent asked for our IT Guy and when she didn't reach him she called the front desk again and asked for our Director of Operations.  When she didn't get him, she called the front desk AGAIN and asked for our former CFO.  I told her he wasn't available (he still works in the building but not for us) and I asked what she wanted.  She mumbled something I couldn't understand so I asked her to be more clear.  She sighed very loudly and said, "Perhaps you could just transfer me to a manager who knows about your computer system."  I told her that would be the first person I transferred her to, our IT Manager, and that if he wasn't available she would have to call back.  She said she would do that and so I hung up.

Called my cell an left a long rambling message. Something about blah blah Samsung blah blah complaint young to resolve blah blah your brother ( if I have a brother it's news to me) then more unintelligible. I say when proven to be spam ( for lack of a better term) phone calls they get charged $1 million per call

I didn't answer.  No vm.  I don't have an Xbox, but I am in IT and get lots of calls selling IT stuff.

Regarding the FedEx, it may not be related, but we're getting scam emails saying they have a bad address.  It having FED, EX rather FEDEX makes it pretty suspect.  Also the fact that thier email was at gmail, not FEDEX.COM.

CI Computer Systems in San Diego looking to update their database. Asked for the IT manager. I asked to be taken off their call list. She said "Sure" and hung up.

I've been getting calls from this number (@Hartanks) for years!  They are so pesty and want personal information about company equipment.  I tell them I WILL NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION about our company and ask them not to call back...but they continue to call.  I just hang up on them now.

About a month ago I was having issues with my SAMSUNG GALAXY S3, I called SAMSUNG to send it in for repair... but I never did send it.

Nice lady left a voicemail saying she was from Samsung Repair Center calling to follow up regarding my issue with my phone. I called back and they answered very nicely and professionally.

got a call from this number today for the first time. they left no message. from the comments made on here, i added them to the reject list.

Foreign lady said she was calling from CI computer systems and wanted to ask questions for their directory.  Insisted it wasn't a sales call when I said "not interested" -finally I was forced to hang up on her.  Well, now that number is blocked - glad my work has a Virtual PBX system that makes it easy.  I must have at least a hundred blocked or straight to voicemail calls put in there now...bloody annoying!

This was from CI Computer Systems. They wanted to update their information in their database about our company.  Its a cold call.  Told them to remove me.

Just received call. Their message says that you can leave your name/number/reason and they will remove your information from their list - however, their voicemail box is full. They do not leave any voicemail messages.

It's a Marketing service entitled Harte Hank.

I answer calls for two office, this company, Harte-Hanks, calls often from different phone numbers.  They rattle off their name and start asking questions.  I usually can't understand them.  I stop them and ask for their company name again and ask if they are a marketing company.  They always assure me they are NOT a marketing company.  As I do with other calls I google the name and Harte-Hanks comes up "direct marketing".  I have asked repeatedly for them to remove us from their list and stop calling.  They are very rude and insist I give them the information they way.  Any reputable would not behave like Harte-Hanks does.

The usually call from 210-892-1190, but I reported them to the FCC. Their name didn't even display on the caller ID when calling from that number. Now their names does display, so they must've gotten in trouble. When they called while ago, I put them on speaker phone and went about my business. I finally disconnected the call.

I left them a Barney song message that my kids sang.  They keep calling without leaving message so I left them a message.  They answered and said they were a call center.

This number was from Samsung call center concerning a recent call we had made.  Our Wifi wasn't working so they were checking back to see how it was working today.

I just received a call from this number.  They left a voice message and claimed to be from Fed Ex International calling about a package I sent to Russia, asking for an alternate address to deliver before 8/22.  I never sent this package.....Just a ploy to get me to call back.

extremely RUDE when i would give them my personal information, mailing address, ssn ...   and then I just said, "I bet you weren't hugged enough as a child were you"...   They then became irate and cursing me....     they haven't called back... LOL

This number was Tickets.com in regards to Detroit Tigers tickets. They were responding to a complaint.
