Received a call from +51-42-019-988 (Peru). Was a automated call saying, "Congratulations, you just won a trip. To claim your prize, press 1 now." I just hung up.

Very dodgy.  Don't bother staying on the line, but I would like to know how they got my phone number.

Also, the National Do Not Call List was distributed to all sorts of companies. Of course they're actually CALLING these numbers, way more people to call to scam than before they had the list!

5142019988 called my cell phone (from Rogers). Of course Rogers sells our numbers to 3rd parties. I've now put my cell # on the Canadian "do not call" registry.

Love these sites. Got a call today at 2:45pm let it go to voicemail, sure enough no messages. Glade I didn't answer. And to Robert: Fido is Rogers, they bought them out a few years ago.

Got a call from this number on my Gov. Of Canada work Blackberry. Didn't answer as noone knows that number.

Got a call on Aug 11-09. No message. Only a handfull of people have this number. It's an automated wardialer. I'm not on any list.

called saying that I had won a prize as a preferred customer of bell mobility and to press 1 but the problem is i am not a bell customer !!! jeez i hope hell gets these scammers!!!!!!!

I got a phone call from this group. It was a very nice guy names Bert. He said that I won $1,000,000 in an Australian lottery. I thought to myself that this is pretty amazing as I've been to Australia 9 years ago. It's about time that country is paying me back for all the time that I spent there. I got a letter in the mail that was registered and I went up to the Post Office to pick up my letter. Bert was right, a check for $1,000,000 was there. I cashed it today. Thanks Australia :)

This is a spoof number used by an advertising company. I suspect they picked up my number via craigslist a month ago.

I got calls from these criminals, they should be traced and busted by the police. These are fraudsters who have no conscience except to cheat on unsuspecting people. The police should bust these criminals and put them in jail.

Just got a call from them too, no message as of yet very disturbing.  I think Rogers is selling cell numbers to everyone and everyone.  I never had these kinds of problems with Telus.

Called my phone saying I won a trip to Mexico. Even though I told them I didnt sign up anything to win a trip they insisted that I confirm personal information with them so I hung up on them.
