I got a call from this number. didn't recognize it, so didn't answer. ..but they left a blank message.

They have called twice asking about our computer, now I say I don't have one, then they ask what about your laptop, I tell them I don't have one, then they hang up.
Beware, they claim to be Microsoft support and your computer is putting out spam.

Got a call from this number 3 different times while at work. Two of the calls were 8 minutes apart, and the other was about 2.5 hours after that. No messages left on my voicemail. When I called back from my Cell phone, it would not connect. I also tried calling from my work land line, and also just silence. Reverse phone number lookup points it to a "Bell land line telephone number" but I am not concerned enough as to pay for the details, although I did click something that seemed to indicate it was being routed out of Cincinatti.

Phone number was 519-432-8671.

This number is a telco port number. (Sorry, don't know the technical terms) In English, it's a number that a telco will use to "forward" calls to the area nearby (in this case London Ontario). It's not really a phone line. It can make outgoing calls only, and that's why "kat" couldn't call it back, and "JKg" got a call from his wife through it. If I grab my cell phone (or anyone else's phone for that matter), and call my own business' 1-800 number, this 519-432-8671 shows up on the call display in my office.

This makes it real hard to track down morons, scammers, telemarketers, etc, since you really don't know who's calling when this number shows up. It could be legit or fake.
Telcos should be forced to smarten up their acts.

These guys call all the time.  Sometimes a girl sometimes a guy but last time my wife started playing along with the guy but in a really patronizing voice and he says "F*** you" and she says "oh, that's not very nice language" and he says it again.  That's the first time someone was abusive.  Why do they call if they know we are on to them? Stoooopid.  The number 519-432-8671 isn't even long distance!

They called me about winning a $100 gas card and some other discounts at wal mart and some where else. wanted me to send them $1.95 shipping. Called my credit card company and they said it was a scam. They called them selves redemption services.

This number has been lighting up my phone at all hours of the day and night for several months now... They never leave a message and my call display only shows their number. After reading the comments on this page, I will never pick this call up and will warn others!!
I refuse to answer any calls that don't have a name attached now... If it is someone who honestly wants to reach me, they always leave a message. Today I tried to find out who was calling from this number using reverse look-up...number apparently doesn't exist. I reached this page by typing the number into a search engine and was amazed to see how many people have been hassled!!
I sincerely hope that something can be done about this!! Obviously complaints are coming in...why can't they be found and stopped?? Is this not illegal??? What has been done to remedy this problem and can they not be arrested??
I worry about the elderly in my family who may get caught up in this obvious scam. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!!

They said i won a car and they were calling from Toronto, I asked to speak to their superior and waited during a few shor beeps, then the same guy came on, very hard to understand his accent.

Then I said again, where are you calling from?  He got angry and said  forget it, we don't need to offer you this.

Got a call from 15194328671. Try calling it back n wont even connect. Kinda weird! !

I just got  a call from them oo...redemption center in montreal....$100 gas card and 2 free airline tix...told her i dont have a cc but she knew i had a visa debit card...wtf. hung up on her going to report

Got a call from this number last night......but this was to say he was the Redemption Centre in Montreal and since I use my credit card often I had the choice of a few free gifts including a $100 gift card,,,,,,he said we have noticed you use your card???   so I said well I do not have a card so what then? he hung up! I like to p*** them off.....The law needs to do something with these people....I have also had them asking if I want my interest lowered, just give them my cc numbers and they will do it for me.......yeah right, like I am gonna do that....the thing that worries me, they will get some senior that thinks this is kosher, and do it...I worry for them....
Also had the computer scam.....let him ramble on while I ran a tap, then said I don't have a pc......hung up on me again hahahaha....
The RCMP need to get onto this....people are being scammed and they are using telephone lines to do it......also notice they all have asian type accents.....something needs to be done

I too just recieved a garbled message from this phone number, wasn't home so I didn't answer it. Good to know not to answer next time.

Just got a call from this number.

The guys name was Andrew.
He tried to tell me that he worked for AT&T in Toronto and that my home number was picked out of a random draw for a free home security system. I get free hardware and installation.  But a $33 access fee a month.
I hung up on him. He then called back from a unknown name and number.

The woman claims to be calling from Mexico and asks if I want to book a trip for 80% off the price.

Ace tools.  They have been instructed by us over a month and a half ago to remove us from their calling list, but they continue to call anyway.

This number has called 5 times today...the one time I answered I couldn't understand because of the accent...said something about my computer. Obviously a scam.

I work at night and sleep during the day...these people who ever they are phone and wake me ...I answer and they don't answer...this happens twice a day...when they call, I want it to stop!!  Tired of answering the phone and getting nobody on the line...I am reporting another number as it called twice too!!!

I got a call from this same number today. While I was working. She said she wanted to speak to my mother I told her she wasnt available and she asked wen to call back. But instead of giving her an answer I asked her what the phone call was regarding. She said it was about a security or alarm system.( her accent made it hard for me to understand her) I told her we werent interested and she started giving me attitude. She tried to re-convince me and I asked again what it was about, then she raised her voice and  said "why should I tell you? I want to speak to your mother!" Im the manager here and that set me off! So I raised my voice right back at her and told her not to bother calling back...frickin scams

Got a call from 519-432-8671 today at 5:28pm. After answering there was a pause. Then a raspy voice said hello twice and then said something like "wheres my claim" I could not understand it and and they repeated it twice. I hung up after that and then found this site.

This number has called my house on 3 different occasions.....first time (about a month ago) they wanted to "fix" my computer b/c my computer had sent a message to Microsoft, my computer hadn't been turned on in over a week so I told him no.  He got mad and told me I had no choice so I hung up.  They have since called back twice in the last week and I get the pleasure of listening to someone breathing, but no one will speak.  How do you get rid of these idiots???

I got a call from this number - but from my wife in Winnipeg. Don't understand how that works.

I got the call today january 31st  luckly there was a story about it in the local newspaper as a lady was scammed by them.DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE when they call.

Received a call from this number today. Indicated that they were calling from "Microsoft PC Support" and that my Windows computer was sending them reports that it was malfunctioning and offering to fix it for me remotely. It is a scam! The connect into your computer, and pop up a file on your screen showing all kinds of errors and then "sell" you a "new" dll to correct the area, If you decline they trash your operating system files, rendering your computer inoperable. there is a good chance they are also stealing your personal information also... Just hang up!

got a call from this number. didn't recognize it, so didn't answer. they left a blank message. called the number back to check who it was (since it seems to be a business and not just a local number calling by mistake), and my cell wouldn't even connect to their phone. Seems like the number isn't real/doesn't exist. When I dialed out it wouldn't even ring. I just got an error on my cell that "user is not responding, will not connect" which is what happens upon dialing a defunct number.
