They called me asking if about employment, so i said sure, didnt show up for an interview, they then called asking why i didnt show up and i said becasue this is a scam, they then hung up. They called again today and i said if they called again the police would be involved.

This company (Dr. Green Lawn Care)continues to call even after asking to be removed from their list.

Calling repeatedly - 9 times per my call display since the last time I deleted it... and 10 times before that.

My post above was with respect to a telephone call made to Dr. Green Lawn Care's Head Office in Mississauga at 11:50am on Tuesday Mar 11, 2008

Fed up with telemarketers and their tactics.  I refuse to deal with any company who employ  such arrogant, rude and disrespectful sales staff many of which have total disregard for the person on the other end of their phone line. dr. green lawn is exactly what I mean.  What would make me want to have anyone from this company come anywhere near my home? I'll be sure to mention the complaints I've been reading online.

i work for Dr. green u should not be so hard on the people here....they are young students just trying to make a buck...and it doesnt help that when we call u...u swear at us tell us to rot in hell..shove the phone up our a#$#'s, start pressin all the numbers on ur phones and verbally harass us more then we have ever done to u.
if u r nice to the person u talk to they will gladly take u off the list but if you yell at us do u think they r gonna do what you want....so dont bad mouth the company unless u have had there service and are generally not happy with the service.

it is not the people you talk to who harass you it is an automated dialer and i am sincerely sorry if you did not want a call....you should teach your children not to give out ur address. my apologizes form the company.

I was called many times from Cambridge this winter by a "Mr. Dunkel". I asked him to take me off his caller list. He didn't and kept calling. I was polite but kept saying "I do NOT need any lawn services". They came out to my property on April 29 and the lawncare technician says to my wife who happened to be outside "you already have had your lawn sprayed" She says "yes, we don't need any service". We got a bill shortly after for $77.95. I called their Mississauga headoffice and explained to the manager who said he would canel it. I just got another bill. I called the Mississauga office today (1-877-374-7336) and got Carolina on the phone who says I ordered the service verbally in April when Mr. Dunkel called me on the phone. I answered her with "I didn't order any service". She said the $77.95 was for the technician to make a house call even if he didn't perform any service. Then she says lets split the bill in half and you need to pay $39.00." I said I don't need to pay anything. Then she says "okay I'll be sending it to collections tomorrow. I asked to speak to a manager and she says shes too busy, needs to take other calls and hands up.

So should I do with this situation and the Dr. Green company.

They said they signed me up through a verbal contract (what the hell is that) and sent me 3 bills so far. This is a real scam. When I called them they say you signed up by phone on April 14 with our Cambridge office and came to your property on April 15. My neighbour was raking and cleaning up all day and said no one performed any spraying. So why should I pay. The said "Tell you what, we will cut the bill in hald". We need a class action suit against this company.

Calls many times days and evenings, and then when call is answered they tell us they have the wrong number.

I am getting calls non-stop from these guys.  I am not sure if they are desperate or going under....but their sales people are way out of line..further to that; I have read posts on this link by actual employees of this company lashing out at peoples complaints? This is unreal.  I had a conversation with a man from Dr.Green the other day when I picked up and he treated me nothing more than that of a cow in a pasture as if I had no other place or smarts other to be fed his sales pitches.  Fact is; I do use a lawn care service and I have for years.  I will say it is one of the larger ones not being Weedman, Great Lakes etc.  I have trusted their knowledge to simply provide me results and answer my questions and they do so with a smile. To my surprise, last night Dr.Green provided me with information AGAINST the company I use (why would you do that in hopes of prospecting a new sale?)including a statement I believed to be false in saying that Dr.Green actually supplies them with the products they use....that being said, I called the Field Manager in London whom I have dealt with many times.... and no, I do not call a mass 1-800# in hopes of him returning my call... I have his CELL phone number and have for as long as I have used them.  When I presented him with this information this was his response "Bill, I am happy you called me... how is the winter going for you? It is not my job to comment on other companies and competition, it is my job to ensure you are getting the best value in your services and investment, I can tell you that statement is un-true, but I am sure they are a proffessional company that knows what they are doing....."  That being said, I trust him entirely that Dr.Green's information was faulty and I advise you to BE AWARE of these calls.  Why does my lawn care company so easily dismantle the information I have gave him without any worry or concern of false or misleading information? because they must get it ALL the time!!! thats why.  I have tried to call Dr.Green back many times today with no answer, and I am not surprised.  I am sure my company would not want the attention on this site so I will not provide their name... my wish is that for all you people who see results in using services, I hope you gain a relationship like mine and not fall for Dr.Greens sales pitches......CALL YOUR PROVIDER.

Are you certain Dr Green is a lawn care company? I can find no reference to offices in western Canada but they keep phoning me here in Edmonton. Their behavior suggests something like a collection agency with all the rudeness and the number of phone calls in a day. It's one way they have to get around the collection restrictions. Anyone having this feeling?

Called today - talked to Jacqueline who informed me that I WOULD be taken off the call list

This is not a business that you want to deal with anyways.  We used them last year and it was the worst customer service we've ever received.  They continually tried to over bill us and it must have taken at least 20 phone calls with various reps and managers before things were finally resolved.  It did not surprise me in the least to find out that it is Dr. Green that's harassing me and my family with all of these ridiculous phone calls.  

Absolutely stay away from this company.  No company with a grain of ethics would use this type of telemarketing practice.

Look for places on-line that allow you to rate/review/comment on Dr. Green and make sure that you let others know that they should never do business with them.

Got the call today and they asked me to confirm my address.... it caught me offguard and i did.... Regretted it instantly.  

I've blocked the number...  Hopefully they don't fill up my physical mailbox with their crap now that they know where i live....

sounds like a scam. I live in Alberta. I did not answer the phone. I doubt Dr Green Lawn care is interrested in taking of lawns in AB. Especially after hearing reports of people being rude, it must be a scam. Legitimate businesses do not harrass people nor are they rude.

This company is a total joke... STAY AWAY... As of today I'm a former employee

These guys phone AT LEAST twice a night even though I told them I wasn't interested in lawn care.....what's worse is when the answering maching comes on they don't leave a message and all you can hear is people talking in the background for the ENTIRE length of the answering machine

They have been calling here for over three weeks, today well over 7 times, three of which in the last 45 min.

I've been getting about 3 to 4 calls a day and in the evening from this number as well within the past week or so.

This number calls 2-3 times EVERY day.  Most times we ignore it but even if we answer, there's no response from there end.

I suspect there's more to this than a simple telemarketing scam.

Can we frustrate them?  Why do we not call Dr Green Lawn Care and ask for a free quote for lawn care.  When they show up do not answer the door.

Called my house.  My 8 year old son answered and they asked him to confirm our address. He did and then they asked to speak to his father.  When he passed the phone to his father, they hung up.  We were scared sh**tless at first because we had no idea who it was.  I will not allow my kid to answer the phone anymore.

These guys call my house too. I am in kitchener, I'm going to track them down and beat on their head!
