I just got off the phone with these guys. The rep called the company "Warranty Specilists Co." I pressed to see where he got my cell phone number from and he said a 3rd party vendor. He absolutely refused to give me their name. I pressed to speak to a manager and all he said was "I cannot answer you at this time. I removed you from the list." He must have said that a dozen times, but would not give me a name or number to call to speak with someone. Finally he hung up on me.

Just happened to me. As soon as I asked what the name of his company was he hung up.

My daughter just rec'd a call from this number. I called the number back and rec'd a recording regarding a request to be removed from the calling list. I then called the number 866-225-1956 as listed in the message from "Irked in Memphis" and spoke with David in the compliance dept. He said the number was owned by one of its' customers and was not supposed to be in service at this time. Said he would call them and ask them to scrub all contact numbers listed under that number. I don't expect a lot, but he seemed to be understanding. If if continues, I will report his business "Telephone Management Caller ID,LLC" to the BBB and to the Federal Communications Commission.

I have been receiving calls from this company for months, but always request to be removed from their calling list. This time I spoke with "Sinclair". I told him that I was going to press charges for harassment with which he responded "Yeah...good luck with that." and immediately hung up on me.

I was napping when I got the call from 1 562-223-8826. I did not answer it. Upon googling the number, I found this site. Glad I didn't answer!
They've been calling my cell phone about car warranty at least once a day.
JP 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
What can be done about this other than reporting it here?
Ryan 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
If they keep calling use racist profanity to deter them. Psychological warfare!
Josh 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
The carrier for the number is a company called Digitcom Services Inc. If you go to their website there is a 'number lookup' link where you can basically register that someone is abusing the number via telemarketing. You might try that as an easy way to get some (limited) recourse if they've been bugging you.

I just got a call and didn't answer it. Looks like that was the right thing to do. I'm not going to call those numbers as they look like phishing numbers/emails as well.
Helpful people on the phone are just as likely to add your number to a list of known number TO CALL as remove you from any list. Now they know that the number is "live".
I did create a number in my cellphone that now shows as SCAMMER and plays "won't get fooled again" for the ringtone.

I just left them a message to not call my government supplied telephone as it is for offical business only!

I received a call on my cell from this number. In 2 days I have received more than 4 phone call. I didn't pick up as it didn't look right to me. No mesage was left.
Ben 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
Same deal here. I spoke with "Jen" and tried to sound somewhat interested to attempt to glean more information. They have called me a few times already and I've been hung up on when trying to get info angrily. This time I pretended that both my cars were under warranty and expressed worry as to why I was getting this call. She said there must be have been some mistake and she will remove me from the list.....yeah ok.
Ben 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
Sorry, the number i posted before has a typo
L 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
I have been getting these calls from a series of numbers. And what is even stranger, four of my close friends are getting them as well. Relentless calls, sometimes four or five times a day, toting their "warranties" There has to be some sort of recourse to make the calls cease. This can't be legal?
Is there any proven way to make this stop?
Ry 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
I just got a call from these a-holes. I've gotten a call at least once a week. All calls were ignored. Glad to find their number on this site as a scam.
Ben 2011-06-06 20:51:39 Unknown
Today i got a call from this number 562-223-8826 on my cell, and when i tried to call it back you get an automated response to decline to get further calls from them... But no information about the company.
Also contact your cell, or land line phone carrier about this number, and they can; with enough complaints, restrict the number.
Hope this helps

I received 5 calls in a row on my cell. Since it was an unknown number I did not answer. A friend picked up the 4th call and it was a recording - "if you want to opt out press 1" and guess what - about an hour later the number called again. I picked up and an Indian woman said I had won $120 dollars because of my Mastercard ending in ****. Doesn't that start to sound like a scam? Then she wanted to verify my mailing address.... So now she has my Mastercard, my cell phone and she recites my address??? I ask her what this is in regards to and she tries to continue with her spiel, ask again and she transfers me to an Indian man who again says I have won $120. When I ask him why and what it is in regards to he hangs up.
BEWARE!

Just got a call from them saying I'm eligible for $120 in free gas card for being such a great visa customer. The part that alarms me is that they had the last four of my visa#. They first said they were from a company named "Global Marketing" then the "senior supervisor" told me that they were calling from USBank (my visa). I'm calling USBank today to make sure I'm not in any danger....Wow, while I was typing this they called a second time! (five minuets later!) I demanded they take me off of their calling list. We'll see what happens.

We received a call from this number this morning at 5:30am. They said they were representing Chase Visa and had our names, phone number, address, and last 4 digits of our credit card. They said they were sending us a debit card with $120 for being such good Chase customers. Then they rapidly said they would be sending us something in the mail. We hung up but received two other calls in the next 30 minutes from different phone numbers, some hidden.
This makes 5 calls in 3 days. I called Chase and they had no knowledge of these calls and said they would never give out the last 4 digits of a credit card over the phone.

I have received several phone calls from this number starting 12/10 @ 8:41 pm, 10:25 pm and then again @ 11:15 pm eastern time in which I did answer and gave them a piece of my mind for calling so late, I didn't give them time to even say a word, I thought it was illegal to call after 9pm.Well I just received another call 12/11 @ 9:59am from the same # so I answered it and they told me that they wanted to send me a $120 gas card for being a good credit card cust, which they had my last 4 digits of my cc # which upsets me. I asked them how the f@#$ they got my number for 1 and 2 how the f@#$ did they have my cc # and I to speak to a supervisor and that was a joke cuz she couldn't speak english so I let her have it too using some choice words. they also told me they did not call that late and when I told them I have proof and wanted to know what company they were representing they hung up on me...I have called my bank and filled them in on this. I have not received telemarketer calls in many years and now all of a sudden I start getting them from this number ( MAG DISCOUNT) something is up and I will continue to persue this until I find out something...If anyone knows anything about this or with any suggestions please let me know
