Print up this thread and give to your HR Dept and/or manager, so they can see that you (and they) are being harassed by foreign scammers.  This is an extortion scam - there is no debt and no one will be arrested - debt is civil, not criminal.  You should not pay them anything.  Your workplace can and should call their phone service provider to see about blocking these yahoos from calling.  More info here:

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

Just received a call as I am working on my property taxes and had just called the county for info. so right after I got this call thinking it might be the many that should be calling me back ..picked up ..She scared me ! started writing down the # they wanted me to call and said I was in big trouble I could hardly understand her so wanted to ask if I could speak to an american haha ..then it hit me ! What a scam ! as I am worrying about my finances they hit me off guard ..I yelled and hung up ! right away Googled # and found this post ! as I am reading ..the # she had me write down called 567-244-4092 called me back and once again yelled in the phone !! SCAM !! I GOOGLED YOU AND EVERYONE KNOWS YOU'RE A SCAM !! DON'T EVER CALL ME AGAIN ! And hung up Hahaha at least it gave me a short break and place to release my tension of the day :-)

I received those calls from 567-244-4092 and called them back today....see my long post on that number's page, but I reported them to my local police and news channels, the FCC. the FTC, the IRS, the Consumer Protection something, and called them back to let them know that I did so. Try the IRS website as well; there's some good information on there too. Good luck!

I received this a call from the 567-244-4580 number. The speaker had a thick Indian accent, except he was telling me there was a legal case against me by the U.S. Treasury and that I needed to call that very same number back to find out what it was about.  I am trying to figure out a way to report this to someone who can shut them down.  Any suggestions?  

These scumbags just called me with with same us treasury Daniel Rich crap, had me worried for a minute until my boss called his tax attorney.

These people keep calling my work and will hang up and call back again and again and again.  They are very rude on the phone and when I told them to stop calling me at work, he said he will keep calling me back until I settle this debt.  I told him to send me the information by mail and they won't.  They have threatened to come to my work and arrest me if I do not settle this over the phone.  My work is getting upset and I am getting upset with these phone calls.  How can I get them to stop?

US Treasury is trying to contact me.  Jazelle Brown from Toledo Ohio called to notify me.

They called me yesterday and said that the us treasure is taking action against me and that I need to call  a Daniel Rich who is the treasure officer. So it did  I knew it was a scam. So he told me that  I needed a lawyer cause I'm in trouble with the us treasure department. When I told him that I think he is scamming me he got real upset and told you'll find out when the police shows up at my house to arrests  me  and he hung up . Both the female and the male sounded like there are from India   . This is a federal a fence if some one says there are from the us treasure department like they did.

THIS IS A SCAM.  SCAM SCAM SCAM  I HAVE REC'D OVER 20 CALLS FROM THIS AND VARIOUS OTHER NUMBERS, ALL FROM PEOPLE WITH THICK INDIAN (INDIA) ACCENTS AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THEIR NAMES, I GOT KEVIN PETERSON AND A MARVIN BROWN....GIVE ME A BREAK !! THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR A "LOAN", CAR, CREDIT CARD, ETC, AND THEN THEY TRY TO SUCKER YOU INTO GIVING OUT YOUR SSN, DOB AND BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER TO FILL OUT AN "ONLINE" APPLICATION.  I TRIED GETTING INFORMATION FROM THEM, BUT THEY WON'T EVEN TELL YOU WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED - THEY WONT GIVE YOU THE STREET ADDRESS.  MAYBE THE CITY, BUT THAT'S IT!!

I keep getting these calls from a man telling me I ahve been aproved for an auto loan. I have asked them repeatly to remove my number but they refuse. The last time this indian guy called me and i asked for a manager her said " I am the manager baby" , I cursed him out and he hung up. They have since called me back. I would not answer and I am prepared for the next call. I am going to make him wish he never called me. When I finish with hm he is going to wish he never called me.

This is a well known scam. They claim to have "court documents" or claim a hearing was held. I actually tried to explain how the court system in America works...that we don't just have random trials with no defendant present...but it did no good. I asked for copies of this "paperwork" and was told to "shut up" and pay my "loan".

Instead of getting mad, I chose to have fun with these creeps. I began to call back every five minutes asking where the court house was located. I asked for my paperwork. I pretended to be an attorney.

Finally they blocked ME from calling them...solved the problem.

Call them back again and again and again. Turn the tables on them and continue to put up posts like this so others can give them a taste of their own medicine. I ended up having great fun with these morons and my co-workers thought it was hysterical.

i dont think it has anything to do with selling products, they call and leave harrasing messages for you to call them back or have your attorney call them. I don't speak to anyone from a collection agency or someone that doesn't state what company they work for. Federal law requires them to tell you their name, call back number, name of the company, extension number and what the call is about.

I'm getting sick and tired of the companies factoring out work to the middle eastern people. They are rude, and if they are here in the united states working under a work visa they all need to be deported back from where they came from.

They are using toss out numbers and numbers that can not be traced. Simple solution don't answer your phone and let your blood pressure get high. They will all be caught sooner or later and I dont think the FBI has the man power to look into 1000 different numbers that they continue to use.

Men from India call and harrass me. It seems sexual to me since they won't stop calling even though I tell them I'm not interested in their loans they say they are offering. When I put my husband on the phone to tell them to stop bothering me they immedietly hung up on him. I'm afraid that the caller is some kind of sexual predator.

Receive call from 567-244-5458 more than 10 times a day. Caller has an Indian language and the male caller always ask the same question. (May I speak to the owner of this phone number)

My patients is wearing down by the minute whenever I receive a call from this number, please stop calling, PLEASE.

Keep getting calls all day until 8:30 at night.  I finally answered the call and when I answered I said, "police department" and the indian man still didn't understand what I said and continued trying to ask for me pronouncing my name incorrect.

I recently spoke with Ohio Telecom, they had informed me that the line had been shut off, and the company that is doing it is a group of thieves, they are looking to gain information on people, They are not Auto Loan Network, in fact they are looking to steal your ID or Identity...Do NOT give any Info out

Jamie - I know that Ohio Telecom owns the number and that they weren't the ones calling me but if we are being harrassed don't you think that as a company they have an obligation to have a say in how their product is used?  By providing the numbers Ohio Telecom is facilitating the morons making the calls.  I must receive 5-6 of these a day - I can usually get it and hit end before it tries for v.m. but don't know if I'm getting charged for the incoming call - just because I honestly haven't had time to check.
