I was selling a vehicle on Craigslist when texted by low-life do***e bag "Kate Richard". They said they were buying it as a gift for a friend for full asking price and would arrange shipping out of state without coming to look at it first. She wanted me to send a Paypal money request to karlenedb@gmail.com and arrange for shipping.
They use Paypal to run their scams.
Don't fall for these tricks.

Received a text from this number asking if a Craigslist item was still for sale. Gave name of Kate Richard and asked to reply with 'YES' if still available. According to other lookup sites.this is a scammer who will want your PAYPAL info

I just got a text from this number stating name was 'Katie Richards' and asking if my machine was still for sale. If so then reply 'YES'. I was suspicious because it came at 5:30AM and was too friendly. Why not call instead? Texting is a cowards way.

Same thing - tried to buy a motorcycle without looking at it via PayPal. I told him I only accept cash and he did not respond. Definitely a scammer and stupid enough to do it from his own mobile phone apparently.

tried to buy my trailer off craigslist using pay pal. This marine is way to smart for this person. only texted me. when i said bank transfer he said only pay pal.....what a dope
