Some scam about alarm systems. Telemarketing over cell phones is illegal. This is part of what Google Voice transcribed:

"Over the next few weeks will be in your neighborhood. Installing free in home alarm systems to get this. Free in home system, press 1 and get protected press one now, bye. Hello, My name is Jonathan over the next few weeks will be in your neighborhood. Installing free in home alarm systems to get this. Free in home system, press 1 and get protected press one now. Yay. People Participating bye. "

574-970-9705 belongs to Engagetel, Inc. and they are based in Cheyenne WY but that is likely as far as you will get with them.  The telephone line they use to annoy the hell out of you is issued by One Communications.  I suggest you contact their CEO, Howard E Janzen at his home during the week in Massachusetts (he commutes back and forth from his home in Kansas City, KS) at 781-362-5700 and request that he discontinue service to Engagetel.  Since he is a CEO, you may have to call real late at night to reach him.  Or you can call his wife, Cherine back home in Kansas and ask her to deliver a message for you.

Either way, we need to make sure that he gets the message, WE ARE TIRED OF TELEMARKETERS!

If you are on the Do Not Call list, please don't forget to file a complaint with the FTC on both these companies.

This is not ADT, this is a company that installs ADT systems. ADT will thump their skulls.

Call ADT Customer Service at 8665610952. Give them the caller ID of the # that called.

Give them the # that should be removed. Be patient and understanding.

Same thing. Just got a call from this number trying to sell me in-home alarm systems. "Press one now!"
Hung up and called back but no answer. I've noticed most of these are spoofed numbers to get your information. Typically they spoof a real business' phone number so when you call back, you actually get the legit business and not the scammer. It's a one way thing.

Just received an automated call trying to sell home alarm systems.  I hung up called back and got an automated message press one to be put on their do not call list.   I am on the do not call list.  They call anyway.  How do we get them to STOP.
