People from this number call daily...and are not nice at all very rood and threatening. They are not even calling for me...this is a scam tring to get money from people who owe money. These people are not real

Keep calling my place of work and my cell phone... Just got off the phone with them at work, they would not say who they were or what they were looking for, and was incredibly rude! I ended up just hanging up on them.

When I spoke to "Blake" when he called my house, he one did not use proper etiquette per a debt collector, and then continued to reference an issue of a fraudulent supposed pay day loan I never tried to get and had to close bank accounts for because after looking into the manner legally I was told that the company that accessed my account did so illegally and I in no way was in debt to them because they did so illegally. It is funny they told my husband they were had issued a warrant for my arrest to be done at my place of employment which they did not know, and he told them to go ahead but the police never came, and for an account supposedly with court dock numbers and that is in "collections" it appears no where on my credit report so I would guess all matters this number calls for are fraud and you should in no way give them info. Always research if you do owe money before you give out info or you will be a victim of fraud just as I was.

Get calls from this number and other numbers, same company - CONSERVE, collections.  They are rude, persistent, does not identify themselves and I did a search and their license expired in January.  I wrote them a letter and they called soon after.  I told them they would receive a letter, certified.  She said they didn't have it and if it is not received, they would call back in 10 days.  Of course, they have been calling before the ten days.  I just put COLLECTIONS with each number they call me from, then I don't have to wonder who's calling.  They know what they can do for me!!!!

I repeatedly receive calls from this number. It has been more frequently recently (1-2 times a day often) but they never leave a message. I've had no luck at determining who is on the other end and am getting frustrated at the missed calls I keep getting from them.

It's a debt collection company for student loans.  It's Conserve.  Nasty...but then, that is how they make their money.  And in the name of the almighty dollar, everything is OK.

They have been calling our phone number for several months trying to reach a Ceasar Garcia....not us....and I have told them myself 5 times and told that to 5 different people and my husband has told them 3 times that this person does not live here but they don't seem to get it and won't take our number out of their system.

Got a call from them today @ 1:18 PM EST...did not answer, no voicemail. # 585-598-6195 showed up as a Fairport, NY number. I have never had student loans!

They just called me and told me I owed $7k in student loans..I have been our of school for 7 years and paid off all my student loans to Sallie Mae over a year ago.  They said I had taken a personal loan.  I responded that I have not gotten anything in the mail at all about this loan saying I owe it.  They said they sent notices to an adress (2013 Mount. Vernon Street, Philidelphia).  I have lived in Louisiana all my life.  WTH?  I gave them the last 2 numbers of my social (even though they wanted 4) so they could verify that they have the wrong person. Apparantly they did.  How in the hell did they get my work number anyway when I am the wrong person.  Something seems fishy.  But they said they removed that number from the file.

Caller claimed to be Brian Toben with Continental needing speak with an individual in a department or someone else in the department.  Said it was a time sensitive matter.He even stated it was so important that he wanted to speak with the person in charge of my company.  Caller ID did show Conserve.  Too bad I wouldn't help him.

I got a phone call from these people today and they began by asking me if I was able to make a payment of EIGHT GRAND in full. I LOL'ed then asked them with what check book?... and if I was able to do that they they wouldn't need to be contacting me? Then the lady started telling me that I hadn't paid it in 2 years and so that I should have had time to get the money together...as if I don't owe money to other people in a h*rse s*** of an economy like today's.

Then she put her manager on the phone who completely disrespected me by saying that they see I have a line of credit through Capital One and that they are paid every month on time with out fail and that must mean my properties are all "screwed up" and that also means I have "absolutely no intention on paying them ever." As if he has any clue what is going on in my life and as if They company take precedence over any thing.

Then he demanded money and told me that if I wasn't going to pay anything that he would just tell his client to Sue me. REALLY WTF!? So that's your bright idea for scaring me in to making a down payment to you guys for $700.00 (which, might I add has absolutely NO positive influence on my credit report till the amount is paid in full?) I DON'T THINK SO! I have never dealt with such a rude, disgusting organization in my life. UGH!

They've called repeatedly asking for me.  My wife has taken the calls; they've refused to answer her questions about who they are or why they want to speak with me.  They've tried repeatedly to get her to disclose my birthdate and the last 4 digits of my security number.  My wife says they've been very rude and demanding during each call.

Called - left no message - I see from other boards this company is ConServe - trying to collect on student loans - seem to call every last name (example: 'Williams' in a town's phone directory to find 'the' williams they are looking for. Spoke once to them - rude & slick - won't answer questions - just asks questions

that number showed up on my cell phone caller id about 3 times. i dont answer numbers i dont know. but today i was bored so i decided to block my number and call the number back.. it was a debit collector, i honestly didnt have to give my name, i did provide my tel # though, the persons name was eric, anyways i ask what the call was regaurding he simply said " my kids fathers" name, i advised him that i speak to him offten, eric said that my kids father gave my # and said it was his, and also that we were married, i advised him that i havent been with him in 6 years and this isnt his # and told him that i will provide him with the last known # and eric asked if he was currently working i told him that he hasnt worked since i left 6 yrs ago, and " good luck, trying to have him pay back what ever money is owed, being as though i havent recieved child support in 6 years, but all in all the represenative that i spoke to wasnt that bad. he said he would remove my # from there records, i will absolutley , this web site know if they call me back.

Got the third call from these people just a few minutes ago. As I'm just waiting to get through airport security, I decided to see who it was before I lose my innocence at the hands of a TSA agent. The guy wouldn't tell me the company name, but said he was trying to collect a debt from Michael Jon Carter. Since I work for a company that does, in fact, publish comic books with the character named Michael Jon Carter, better known as Booster Gold, I told him I'd see what I could do. Just an odd, odd call.

These people call me all the time in relation to my student loans.  The best part is I am paying my loans directly to the state.  I wish they would just leave me a lone.  They keep sending me these wonderful applications for another loan to pay off the loan I already have.  Um I don't think so.  Your right "get in line".  I don't have so much money and I am doing the best I can to pay what I can.  I know that is a terrible stand to take and I don't like doing it but it is the best I can do right now.

If this continues I will be very unhappy. How do I stop these calls?

I agree with you on that matter "in line like the rest of them"... time has been hard and because of the recession, we should get pardon from these loans. this will allows us to help boost up the economic pressure that our society face.

They called me from the number (a Danielle B.), looking for someone with my same first name, but different last name. "James ...."  They said a reference of mine gave them the number.  

Wouldn't tell me anything about why they were calling or who they were, only that "they were handling papers" for me.

Sounds like they don't only spam for last names, but also first names!  Good candidate to report to BBB.
